The Ministry of Fisheries condemned the developments on Mayun Island into a military base by UAE mercenaries.

It also demanded the withdrawal of the UAE forces and those allied with them from the island and all Yemeni lands, islands and coasts, and the cessation of developments seeking to transform the island into a military base subject to the American and Zionist project.
The Ministry held the Security Council, the United Nations, and its affiliated humanitarian and human rights organizations responsible for the infringement on Yemeni sovereignty on a number of islands, the latest of which is what is happening on Mayun island.
The Ministry of Fisheries called on the free people of the world to take action in the face of the brutal crimes against which the people of Yemen are exposed, including the attack on the Yemeni islands and their occupation by the countries of the aggression coalition.
