The caretaker Minister of Transport, Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, affirmed Yemen’s commitment to maintaine international peace and security and the safety of maritime navigation in the Red and Arab seas, except for Israeli, American and British ships.
The Minister of Transport explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that there is no threat from Yemen to ships crossing Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Arabian and Red Seas, with the exception of Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied ports, as well as the ships of the two countries of the American-British aggression due to their ongoing aggression against Yemen.
He pointed out that stopping operations against Zionist ships is linked to stopping the aggression and lifting the siege on Gaza.
