The Armed Forces announce the targeting of three ships in the Red and Arabian Seas

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Thursday that they were able to target three ships in the Red and Arabian Seas with batches of ballistic missiles and drones.

The armed forces confirmed that, within the framework of victory over the oppression of the Palestinian people, responding to the crimes committed against our brothers in the Gaza Strip, and responding to the American-British aggression against our country, the naval forces, the missile force, and the unmanned air force carried out three military operations during the past 24 hours.

The first operation was carried out by the missile force in The Arabian Sea targeted the ship (Verbena) directly , causing a fire to break out on it.

The Armed Forces added that the second military operation targeted the ship (Seaguardian) in the Red Sea and it was directly hit, while the third military operation targeted the ship (Athina) in the Red Sea and it was directly hit, stressing that the two operations were carried out with a number of naval ballistic missiles and drones and achieved their goals successfully.

 

The Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed that they are continuing to trust and rely on God in implementing the directives of the Commander Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi (may God protect him) in expanding operations and developing military capabilities to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in defense of dear Yemen, adding that support operations will not stop unless the aggression stops and the lifting of the siege imposed on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The US Central Command acknowledged that the Houthis fired two anti-ship cruise missiles in the Gulf of Aden, hitting a Palau-flagged bulk carrier owned by Ukraine and operated by Poland, adding that the ship reported damage and subsequent fires on board, and the crew continues to fight the fire.

The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority had previously announced that it had received a report about an accident 98 nautical miles east of Aden, in Yemen, while the British maritime security company Ambrey reported that a commercial ship had issued a distress call and reported that it had been hit by a missile about 129 nautical miles away, east of Aden, Yemen.

The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority also announced that it had received a report about an incident 82 nautical miles northwest of Hodeidah, Yemen.
