Hezbollah: Israeli Foolish Act of Attacking Yemen Marks Beginning of Serious Confrontation in Region
Commenting on the Israeli air raids on vital facilities in Yemen’s Hodeidah, Hezbollah issued Saturday a statement of strong support to the Yemeni people and leadership in this confrontation.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the free and noble Yemeni people, the people of dignity and resistance, to their courageous and wise leadership, and to the families of the martyrs and the wounded. Our condolences go to the honorable martyrs who fell on the path to Al-Quds, in victory for our oppressed Palestinian people and in support of their steadfast and honorable resistance.”
The treacherous Zionist aggression against Yemen, backed by full American support, is a continuation of the American-British aggression on Yemen and the ongoing and continuous siege for many years, the statement added, affirming that it is unequivocal evidence of the utmost importance of support fronts across the region and their significant role in defending the Palestinian people.
“We are fully confident that this aggression will not weaken the resolve of this people and its leadership but will instead increase their strength, determination, and persistence on this arduous and bloody path, inevitably leading to the victory of the resistance.”
Hezbollah indicated that it believes that the reckless step taken by the Zionist enemy marks the beginning of a new and dangerous phase of confrontation of utmost importance across the entire region.
“We are fully confident that the Yemeni leadership, with its knowledge, courage, and strength, is capable of taking the necessary and appropriate steps to deter this enemy and its regional and international allies.”
Hezbollah, finally affirmed it stands firmly by the Yemeni people in defending themselves, their sovereignty, and their heroic and historic stance alongside Palestine as well as its people and resistance.
Yemeni media outlets reported that Israeli air strikes targeted oil refineries in the port of Hodeidah in western Yemen, causing oil tanks to catch fire.
