Aden Governor Tariq Salam condemned the Transitional Militia’s targeting of peaceful demonstrators in Al-Arood Square in Aden and firing live bullets at them, which resulted in casualties.
Aden Governor explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this crime is added to the series of brutal crimes committed and still committed by the Transitional Militia against the people of Aden and the occupied governorates, the latest of which was the kidnapping of Colonel Ali Ashal, and other people from those governorates who are crowded in the notorious secret prisons.
He pointed out that the mass demonstration witnessed by Al-Arood Square in Aden reflects the extent of the popular rejection of this militia and its financiers from the occupying countries, which have turned the occupied governorates into an arena for chaos and terrorism and the practice of the most heinous violations and crimes against thousands of civilians who rejected its collaboration and collusion with the occupier.
Salam stressed that this peaceful march revealed the truth about this bloody militia, which was met with repression and direct shooting at the demonstrators.
He praised the level of awareness and high responsibility shown by the demonstrators, stressing that the great popular momentum embodied by the people of Aden and the occupied southern governorates in the parade square revealed the ugly face of the occupier and his tools, who made the people of the occupied governorates taste all kinds of suffering and deprivation.
