Government Media in Gaza: The number of martyred journalists in Gaza rises to 168

The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced on Friday that the number of martyred journalists has risen to 168 male and female journalists since the start of the aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

The government media condemned, in the strongest terms, the targeting and killing of Palestinian journalists by the “Israeli” enemy, and held it “fully responsible for committing this heinous crime and called on the international community and international organizations concerned with journalistic work in the world to “deter the occupation and prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes and pressure it to stop the crime of genocide, and stop the crime of killing and assassinating Palestinian journalists.”

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said earlier today that “the criminal Zionist occupation army’s killing of Palestinian journalists Tamim Muammar and Abdullah Al-Soussi, along with a number of their family members, in two raids on the city of Khan Yunis, is a new crime added to the long series of crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against Palestinian journalists.”
