Sayyid al-Houthi: Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah’s Great Role, Significance, and Global, Regional, and Local Legacy

In a speech delivered today, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badruldeen al-Houthi addressed recent developments over the past week, majorly focusing on the great crime committed by Israel: the assassination of the Martyr of Humanity, the Martyr of al-Quds and al-Aqsa, of Palestine, truth, justice, Muslims everywhere, and Lebanon—the revered Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik underscored the existential threat Israel poses on the entirety of the Muslim nation, while highlighting Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah’s profound global, regional, and local influence. He lauded Nasrallah’s pivotal role in leading the fight against the Zionist regime, delivering historic defeats to the Israeli enemy. According to Sayyid Abdul-Malik, Nasrallah’s leadership has been invaluable not only to Palestine and Lebanon, but to the wider Muslim Ummah, given the shared danger Israel represents to all Muslims.

“For over 40 years, Sayyid Nasrallah stood at the forefront of jihad, actively confronting the Zionist threat with unmatched effectiveness,” Sayyid Abdul-Malik noted. Sayyid Nasrallah led Hezbollah for nearly three decades, with performance marked by success, Allah’s support, and commitment. He also emphasized Nasrallah’s extraordinary moral and spiritual leadership, noting his wisdom, clarity, and deep connection to the people. Nasrallah’s strong rapport with the public was built on mutual respect, and his efforts to maintain close ties with Hezbollah’s popular base were evident in his activities and decisions.Nasrallah, he said, viewed the people as the foundation of the resistance, and in return, they held him in high regard, reciprocating his love and respect.

Addressing Nasrallah’s impact on the Israeli enemy, Sayyid Abdul-Malik pointed out that even Israel acknowledged Nasrallah’s formidable leadership. The Israeli enemy sees Sayyid Nasrallah as a powerful enemy who possesses great competence in carrying out his duties and sacred responsibilities.”—unlike many Arab leaders whom they dismiss. Israeli settlers fear his words, threats, and promises, knowing he is a man of his word who follows through.”

The targeting of Sayyid Nasrallah

He also stressed the deep-seated hatred the Zionists have developed toward Nasrallah, evident in its extreme efforts to eliminate him using powerful explosives. This, Sayyid Abdul-Malik explained, reflected the determination to take away what it saw as a significant blockage of its plans for domination of Palestine, Lebanon, and beyond.

Hezbollah’s Resilience

The role of the United States in supporting Israeli actions was also highlighted. Sayyid Abdul-Malik asserted that every move Israel made was backed by American support, and despite years of efforts to weaken Hezbollah, the movement has only grown stronger. Its resilience, he said, has made it a central force within the Muslim world.

Commitment to the Cause

Hezbollah’s resistance movement, according to Sayyid Abdul-Malik, was distinguished by its patience, wisdom, and steadfastness in the face of numerous conspiracies. He noted that Nasrallah’s leadership extended beyond the borders of Palestine and Lebanon, citing his early involvement in supporting oppressed Muslims worldwide, such as the Muslims in Bosnia.

Nasrallah’s unwavering support for the Yemeni people in their struggle against oppression was also a point of emphasis. Sayyid Abdul-Malik highlighted Nasrallah’s clear and steadfast backing for Yemen, noting his significant role in thwarting American and Israeli schemes aimed at creating sectarian divisions within the Muslim world. Nasrallah’s efforts to promote unity among Muslims were both clear and widely recognized.

Concluding his speech, Sayyid Abdul-Malik reaffirmed Hezbollah’s strength and its unshaken resolve in confronting Israeli aggression. He praised the resilience of Hezbollah’s fighters, noting their continued readiness to engage the enemy. After Nasrallah’s martyrdom, he said, the fighters’ dedication to the cause had only grown stronger.

“The mujahideen of Hezbollah are now more eager and determined than ever to confront the Israeli enemy, even more than in any previous period,” Sayyid Abdul-Malik declared. He emphasized that the legacy of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah would continue to guide Hezbollah’s struggle, ensuring that despite the loss of its leader, the resistance would remain firm and resilient.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik assured that while Israel may have targeted key figures like Nasrallah, Hezbollah remains a united and indomitable force. The group, he said, is deeply rooted in faith and the fight for justice, ensuring that its struggle will continue despite the challenges it faces.
