Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Latest Weekly Developments
Thursday, the 4th of Jumada Al Thani 1446 A.H. (the 5th of December 2024 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
At the end of the second month of the second year and for the four hundred and twenty-six days in a row, the Israeli enemy still continues its brutal, savage aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, committing non-stop acts of genocide on a daily basis. The toll of the Israeli enemy’s massacres, crimes, and aggression to date has reached more than 180,300 Palestinians, including martyrs, missing individuals, wounded individuals, and captives. Most of the martyrs, wounded individuals, and missing individuals are children and women.
This week, the Israeli enemy has committed over twenty-five horrific massacres, leaving nearly a thousand Palestinians killed and injured. Among these were its crimes yesterday targeting camps for the displaced with destructive and incendiary bombs.
The scale of Zionist criminality in committing genocide, the mass killing of children and women (the old and the young), and the daily continuation of these crimes for this extended period within the confined geographical scope (the Gaza Strip) has reached such an extreme level of severity, horror, and brutality that even some Zionists themselves have begun describing these acts as genocide and ethnic cleansing, using such internationally recognised terms.
Recently, the enemies have employed undoubtedly new American weapons in their crimes. Palestinian eyewitnesses in the Gaza Strip, including some journalists, have reported that these weapons melt bodies. After using these weapons to target and kill Palestinians, the bodies of the martyrs struck by these prohibited weapons evaporate. This reflects the extent of the criminality committed by both the Israelis and Americans.
The Americans use their aggressive wars against the peoples of our Ummah—whether directly or through their proxies, especially the Israelis—to test their prohibited weapons and evaluate their effectiveness in killing human society and exterminating people. To such an extent, America demonstrates a blatant disregard for human lives, considering them as expendable and even using them as a testing ground for its prohibited weapons.
The Israeli enemy continues its comprehensive destruction and targeting of hospitals as primary targets, directly focusing on them. This is part of its continuous effort to completely eradicate any medical services provided to the Palestinian people, even those operating at limited levels with extremely limited resources.
In addition, the Israeli enemy continues to use starvation as a method of extermination, denying food and medicine to the displaced. In reality, the entire population of Gaza has become displaced. This week, the UNRWA announced preventing the entry of the very limited food supplies to the Gaza Strip, although these supplies meet less than 6% of the needs of the people of Gaza. They announced that due to Israeli restrictions, attacks, and assaults on what goes into the Strip by gangs formed by the Israeli enemy for looting.
Similarly, the so-called central kitchen, which provides very limited food, announced the suspension of its activities in Gaza after the Israeli enemy had killed some of its employees. Thus, the already dire situation continues to worsen, and famine intensifies for the besieged, oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Along with all these crimes in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli enemy continues its ongoing crimes in the West Bank, including assassinations, raids, bulldozing, destruction, killings, looting, attacks even on livestock, and even targeting olive groves. All forms of aggression are committed, including burning cars by those usurping herds, who are called ‘settlers’. They commit all forms of criminality.
Moreover, the enemy continues its violation of sanctities: It continues to target mosques (the houses of Allah), which serve as houses for worshipping and practicing remembrance of Allah and are of a sacred nature. Numerous mosques have been destroyed in Gaza, and many have been demolished all around Palestine. Similarly, the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is continuously violated through organised incursions into its courtyards, numbering in the thousands. During these incursions, highly offensive Talmudic rituals are carried out. These rituals insult Islam, its Prophet, and Muslims and violate sanctities.
Moreover, measures were also issued to ban the call to prayer [Adhan] through loudspeakers in most mosques in Palestine: This week, a decision was made to prohibit mosques from calling to prayer through loudspeakers in most parts of occupied Palestine.
One of the worst and most dangerous criminal practices that violate Islamic sanctities is the assault on the Holy Quran through tearing and burning it. One can easily see the destruction of mosques with copies of the Holy Quran inside, which are burnt, destroyed, and torn. People watch that on TV. However, the Israeli enemy is not satisfied with destroying mosques, which results in burning and tearing those copies of the Quran inside, but rather the criminal Zionists affiliated with the criminal gangs that call themselves the Israeli army deliberately, purposefully, and systematically film themselves taking copies of the Holy Quran to tear and burn them. In fact, they share these scenes for the Islamic world to see: to make Muslims witness as they commit this heinous crime, which constitutes a serious act of disbelief. It constitutes an insult to the divine message, to Allah’s messengers and prophets, and to His religion; it also represents one of the most provocative acts to Muslims, especially those who still have a trace of Islam in them. They continue this behaviour; even this week has witnessed scenes of this nature, as it is an action they have maintained throughout all these phases.
The Israeli enemy practices all forms of hostility, criminality, and tyranny, which reflect its enmity toward Muslims and Islam. Indeed, this is evident. And the Americans are partners in all the crimes of the Israeli enemy; they support it and participate with it in most of the crimes, representing the other face of Zionism: The Americans themselves are the other face of Zionism. Therefore, America and Israel are two sides of the same coin, and their criminal, aggressive, oppressive, and brutal practices are alike.
Trump, who presents himself as the most loyal to Zionism, is currently issuing threats concerning the situation in Palestine. These threats are aimed at the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region. In one of his statements, he stated that if the hostages of the Zionist Jews in the Gaza Strip were not released prior to 20 January 2025, the date he would assume office as president of America, there would be ‘all the hell to pay in the Middle East’. This expression shows that the Americans do not care about the terrible tragedy that the Palestinian people are suffering, which is unparalleled anywhere in the world, and they pay no attention to the ongoing and horrific oppression and torture against Palestinian captives and those who have been abducted
in Israeli prisons and detention centres. Despite the fact that the Israeli enemy documents many of its crimes in prisons and shares them, showcasing their brutality, aggression, criminality, persecution, and violations, as well as exceeding all treaties, customs, laws, morals, and everything—Trump and the Americans are completely fine with this! That is because they, as we said, are one and the same, so this kind of practice is not a problem for them. However, the real and big problem and catastrophe that the Americans cannot tolerate is having captives from the Israeli enemy in the hands of the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, aimed at using them to put pressure on the enemy to stop the aggression, end the blockade, and conduct a captive exchange deal. Indeed, this disturbs the Americans because they want this Ummah to be subjected to the Israeli enemy, allowing it to kill, abduct, destroy, rape, and plunder, as well as to do whatever it wants. All that matters to them is that the oppressed and the victims take no action against the crimes the Israeli enemy commits.
There are truly significant facts that have emerged over this lengthy period of unprecedented escalation in this round of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, which has lasted for a year and two months. All events and crimes committed by the Israeli enemy with American partnership and Western support attest to this. These crimes add to the previous crimes, assaults, and violations that have persisted throughout all these decades, during which the Israeli enemy has continuously committed its crimes against the Palestinian people, which increase with each stage of escalation. Indeed, this aggression is part of a series of crimes and assaults that have been ongoing since the beginning of the Israeli occupation of Palestine, and even before that, through British occupation. Very important facts have emerged. It is imperative especially for our Islamic Ummah (which is targeted and also holds a significant responsibility) to draw lessons and insights from these events and to gain awareness, insight, and understanding of what is happening, the efforts that target it, and the dangers that surround it. This is crucial. The facts revealed from all of this are extremely important, clear, and self-evident. However, the enemies seek to make our Ummah forget or overlook such facts and to get influenced with the deceptions, lies, and misleading narratives they wish to impose. This aims to divert our attention from the matters we should prioritise, as dictated by our human nature and our moral, human, and religious responsibilities, as well as by wisdom and the true interests of the Ummah.
Through all this unprecedented aggression of heinous criminality, the evident truth and the clear evidence of what Allah (Glory be to Him) has declared to Muslims in the Holy Quran about their most formidable enemy are revealed. As an ummah that belongs to Islam and believes in the Holy Quran as the Book of Allah, which is the truth and cannot be approached by falsehood from any direction, this Ummah should believe in this truth. It should therefore recognise that these individuals are indeed the greatest enemies of the Ummah and the number one enemy for every Muslim. This is the duty of every Muslim who belongs to Islam, believes in the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (PBUH&F) as the messenger of Allah, and recognises the Quran as the Book of Allah. Based on this, they should classify Jews as the number one enemy. {‘You will surely find the most bitter towards the believers to be the Jews’}—the Jews are before all others as the number one enemy—{‘and those who associate others with Allah’}[Al-Ma’idah 5:82]. Those who associate others with Allah are after them as the number two enemy.
{‘You will surely find’}—indeed, we have found and our Ummah has found clear evidence from reality. Anyone following the events can see these crimes.
The events are now documented for viewing, not just for hearing, as in previous eras before photography, television broadcasting, and live reporting for people to see: In this age, the truths have become manifest to this extent. From various corners of the world, people are witnessing with their own eyes the most horrific, dreadful, immense crimes that clearly express intense enmity. People see the Israeli enemy targeting everyone in the Gaza Strip, destroying entire cities on the heads of their inhabitants, exceling at committing the most heinous and atrocious acts. It kills children en masse along with their families, and it also kills them individually in front of their parents and families, subjecting them to torture and seeking their annihilation. It also targets infants and premature babies even in hospitals. It engages in all practices that are criminal in nature and that also express extreme enmity, malevolence, hatred, disdain, and contempt. Behind this is also an ideological background and beliefs that consider Arabs and Muslims in general to be mere animals and not human beings, as expressed by the enemies in their statements, actions, and behaviours.
We have found and our Islamic Ummah has found clear expressions of their intense enmity towards this Ummah in its faith and sanctities, in their attitude towards the Holy Quran, and in their attitude towards the mosques (the houses of Allah), particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is under constant threat. We find the same in their insults directed at the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) and in the chants, statements, and words of these criminals, along with the complete disregard for all sanctities concerning the Palestinian people and Muslims in general, not just the Palestinian people.
Therefore, they violate the lives of these people. They violate their honour, dignity, and integrity through crimes of rape, as well as through all methods of torture, extermination, mass killings, and all other means of killing. They also use means of starvation, deny access to medicine, and restrict medical services, among others. The Israeli enemy sufficiently and indicatively committed aggressive, brutal, horrific crimes, even beyond what one can imagine, express, and describe. It becomes clear to anyone, even to the fool and the stupid, that this is indeed the enemy of this Ummah. What it does to the Palestinian people is not limited to them alone; it committed heinous crimes against many peoples surrounding Palestine in the past. In its aggression against Lebanon, it committed acts of genocide and total destruction, revealing its malevolence and greed. The Israeli enemy expresses and talks about its general view of Muslims in general and of Arabs within the Islamic Ummah. In addition, this view is part of its intellectual and cultural heritage, which is false. Nonetheless, it believes in what is false, what is disbelief, what is evil, and what is unjust.
This is a very clear and evident truth. It manifests extreme malevolence, hatred, and loathing, showing that this enemy poses a grave threat to our Ummah. That is because with all its malevolence, hatred, and loathing towards our entire Ummah (with no exception or regard for sectarian affiliations), it is an enemy stripped of human, moral, and religious values. It is savage and audacious enough to commit crimes, no matter how horrific they are. It targets infants, premature babies, and people of all ages. It unleashes police dogs on the elderly (both males and females) to maul them while they are still alive. Similarly, it stands ready to commit the most heinous crime. It targets the disabled and crushes them with its armoured vehicles, and it practices all kinds of crimes. Those working in media can classify and categorise the kinds of horrific, brutal crimes committed by the Israeli enemy. Anyway, the Israeli enemy remains a cunning, deceitful, and treacherous enemy. It is satanic in its targeting of our Islamic Ummah in all forms, aiming to humiliate, insult, and dominate it.
Therefore, it is extremely important for Muslims to be aware and mindful of this truth that is evident in the Book of Allah and clear in reality. It is supposed that every Muslim has firmly established this truth in his mind and never has any doubt about who the enemy is—the one who poses a threat to him and to his Ummah, to his religion and sanctities, and to his life, honour, land, and dignity. It poses a threat to everything that is relevant to you as a Muslim and as an Arab from this Ummah, as well. It is supposed that this truth should be fully clear because one of the most severe forms of blindness and misguidance is when a person cannot distinguish between who the enemy is and who the friend is. If a person who belongs to Islam is not guided by the Holy Quran, nor by the words of Allah (the most truthful of speakers), or by the events that have captured the world’s attention—as they are major, terrifying events that have captured the attention of the entire world, even non-Muslims—if he is not guided by that, does not understand that, and fails to even distinguish between the enemy and the friend through that, then he has truly reached the level of heart blindness: Allah says in the Holy Quran, {‘Indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts’}[Al-Hajj 22:46].This is a very dangerous state and something that is truly unfortunate!
Rather, it is a state of extreme blindness, horrific and dreadful ignorance, and unparalleled stupidity—which may lead the Americans and the Israelis to believe that some are not human beings and lack the basics of human understanding—when some rely on the Americans and Israelis to define for them whom to oppose, who the enemy is, whom to direct their animosity toward, and whom should be prioritised in confrontation. This is extremely terrible.
The second truth that became evident throughout this period is the great negligence and evasion of responsibility by most of the Islamic Ummah. This truth is clear and undeniable. Most Muslims have stood idly by and never taken any practical position at all throughout this round of savage and brutal Israeli aggression, during which the Israeli enemy has been perpetrating acts of genocide against the Palestinian people at a daily pace for a year and two months. Indeed, most Muslims have shown no voice, no financial support, and no cooperation of any form: neither through money, words, position, nor through weapons—no form of cooperation whatsoever. This is the reality of most Muslims whose sympathy for the Palestinian people, for what concerns them, and for which they bear responsibility does not even match the level of sympathy shown by some non-Muslim countries in Latin America. There are countries where their peoples have taken stronger positions than many Muslims; this is deeply saddening!
As for Arab countries and others, many have failed to take any serious and practical position to support the Palestinian people, even though they witness what the Americans are doing to support the Israeli enemy, along with the support provided by Western countries, such as Britain, Germany, France, and others. They see how these countries continue to provide support to the Israeli enemy despite the fact that it is the aggressor, the oppressor, and the criminal and that it basically possesses resources that allow it to dispense with much of this support, while the Palestinian people are the oppressed, the persecuted, and the wronged. This is not to mention that they belong to Islam and desperately need cooperation because they are at zero level in terms of resources, in addition to the severe conditions they endure. However, the level of concern, sense of responsibility, and commitment to supporting the right position and the oppressed have not risen among many people of this Ummah, who belong to Islam, to the level of action taken by the people of falsehood, injustice, disbelief, evil, and criminality in supporting their aggressive and oppressive criminal—the Israeli enemy.
Most regimes of major Arab and Islamic countries have merely adopted a position of spectatorship: They either, in rare cases, issue some statements and declarations or as usual hold summits that they come out with nothing more than statements, declarations, and speeches, without any practical action even at the minimum level. This is something clear.
With populations estimated at dozens of millions that reach one hindered million people or eighty million people in some countries, the regimes of major countries in this Ummah (the Ummah of two billion Muslims) fail in their collective summits to go beyond issuing statements, which even fade away soon after being issued! They have no practical impact or influence and are not supported by any follow-up measures. This is very clear and deeply disappointing! Moreover, they did not open the door for their people as to say to them that they can provide financial support, act, protest, give money, and offer whatever they can. Instead, they have shackled their peoples, while they themselves remain in such a state of neglect and evasion of responsibility.
Even worse, some of the most prominent regimes with the largest populations in the Arab world neighboring Palestine stand idly by while seeing the Palestinian people starving and even supplied and is still suppling the Israeli enemy with goods. Some Arab countries have even surpassed others in the goods and supplies they send to the Israeli enemy. Even at a weekly pace, when we compare the food, goods, and other supplies that reach the Israeli enemy in a week, we find that the highest level comes from an Arab country neighbouring Palestine. This is something extremely unfortunate and painful. Similarly, at the level of the Islamic world, the highest level [of supplies] comes from a prominent Muslim country. It is one of the most prominent Islamic countries, whose regime is powerful and capable, with international influence and international relations. This country occupies an advanced level in terms of the goods it sends to the Israeli enemy, as well as in terms of the goods it receives from the Israeli enemy. This is even more disheartening, as they are fully aware of the suffering endured by the Palestinian people.
In the light of this overwhelming passivity and neglect and within the framework of this obvious, clear, and undeniable truth (which is well known to all people and requires no further discussion or evidence), the only glimmer of hope and beacon of light amid the darkness of such profound passivity, evasion of responsibility, and stagnation lies in the effort made by the Axis of the Quds, Jihad, and Resistance.
Who in the surrounding region neighbouring Palestine has provided what Hezbollah has provided? Who has done so? The very facts speak of who has made true contributions: Hezbollah has given everything valuable and precious; it has sacrificed its leaders as martyrs for the sake of Allah, as well as of its cadres and members. It has also exerted effort and done what no one else has done. This is, indeed, a clear, undeniable truth that requires no proof—it is self-evident and imposes itself.
The efforts exerted by the fronts of support from Yemen and Iraq and the action taken by Yemen (both the people and the government) are evident. In the light of such passivity, those who stand with the Palestinian people and the dear mujahidin in a manner that is distinguished, clear, visible, explicit, bold, and strong are those who belong to the Axis of Al-Quds, Jihad, and Resistance, with what they do and provide. This also includes the support and the backing provided by the Islamic Republic to the entire Axis, with the Palestinian people at the forefront.
In fact, there are public activities in some Arab countries, but they are not free from repression. Some demonstrations often take place in Jordan on a weekly basis, as well as in the Arab Maghreb. In some countries, public assemblies and limited activities are organised, which often face annoyance.
Amid the Palestinian people’s stand and patience—as well as their mujahidin’s patience, sacrifice, bravery, devotion, and unparalleled great steadfastness under such extremely harsh conditions—this narrow chink of light is all the Palestinian people got; however, even this effort is subjected to extremely intense defamation. Many are the Arab media outlets that dedicate most of their activity to heavily defaming this effort and discouraging the Ummah from making any effort. That is because it is required from all those linked to America and Israel to ensure that no effort is made in support of the Palestinian people and their mujahidin. They [those linked to America and Israel] can engage in any other activities and be part of what is happening there according to American dictates.
Also, among the most significant aspects that emerged within the framework of this effort within the Axis (the Axis of Jihad, the Quds, and Resistance) is a remarkable display of cooperation, solidarity, and mutual support among some members of the Islamic Ummah in the context of a unifying Islamic cause that is unanimously agreed upon to confront an enemy that is an enemy to all Muslims. This enemy makes no distinction between one sect and another and targets everyone: Sunnis and Shias and all Islamic sects and schools of thought. This unified position by some members of the Ummah, within this serious and dedicated orientation, was deeply troubling to the enemies of this Ummah because the American and Israeli strategy is to fragment the Ummah’s people and immerse them in conflicts, crises, and internal problems. This allows the Israeli enemy to isolate and eliminate its chosen targets individually in order to accomplish its task with ease before moving on to the next step, and so on.
It is well-known how division, discord, and fragmentation among the people of the Ummah can divert their attention from their significant causes, from the true enemy, and from the major real dangers threatening them. This is not to mention the role this can play in exhausting their effort and draining their energy in other directions. Therefore, the enemies make every effort to fuel conflicts in Islamic countries, both in the Arab world and beyond, aiming to completely erase Palestine from people’s concerns so that no attention is paid to the Palestinian cause. This also aims at weakening Muslims and exploiting those who align with America and Israel against those who oppose America and Israel and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
It is unfortunate that, during this critical and well-known phase—as the Israeli enemy is at the peak of its criminality and targeting of the Palestinian people, who are enduring immense suffering and whose tragedy has reached such an extreme level, particularly in Gaza —some of the most prominent regimes in the Islamic world choose to offer a token of obedience to Trump by inciting discord among the people of the Ummah, even before he enters the White House. This is both utterly saddening and deeply disappointing!
Here we see a banner calling for liberating the Levant: ‘the Liberation of the Levant!’ The holiest place in the Levant is Palestine, with its Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Quds. Why do those who are waving this banner and those behind them not move to liberate Palestine, which has been deprived of freedom and independence for over a century?! It was first occupied by Britain and then by Israel. Which part of the Levant is more deserving of support and backing, as it is truly in need of liberation? Liberation from whom? It is from the fiercest and worst enemy of this Ummah: the criminal, oppressive, infidel Israeli enemy, which has gone this far in its criminal practices, disbelief, and evil:
It burns and tears apart copies of the Quran, the Book of Allah.
It destroys and demolishes mosques.
It kills children and women.
It commits rape against men and women in prisons and detention centres.
It carries out daily genocides against an entire people.
It starves two million Muslims, including children and women, the elderly and the young, and denies them food and medicine.
It uses the deadliest weapons to annihilate and kill them—it perpetrates all these horrific crimes!
Aren’t the Palestinian people the most deserving in the Levant to be rescued from such oppression, criminality, and aggression? Isn’t the Palestinian land (which is one of the holiest lands of the Levant, with its sacred sites, foremost among them being the Al-Aqsa Mosque) more deserving of liberation, O those who are raising the banner of ‘liberation’? What is the reason behind erasing all these priorities and fueling conflicts here and there to distract the Ummah (on one hand) and to drown it, divert it even from following up and paying attention, and foster major divisions among its members [on the other]? This is deeply saddening!
O those who are raising the banner of confronting oppression, is there a greater oppression than that inflicted by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people? It is the most heinous, the greatest, and the worst kind of oppression committed before the very eyes of the whole world. This is truly disheartening. Indeed, the Palestinian people are the greatest victim of oppression!
To those who are raising the banner of liberation and claiming to pursue a religious cause, what is greater than these crimes, that war against Islam, and the explicit hostility towards Islam manifested in burning copies of the Holy Quran, insulting and mocking the Prophet of Islam, and violating the sanctity of mosques, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as demolishing and destroying mosques?
In this critical phase, O sons of our Ummah, the Islamic Ummah desperately needs awareness and insight derived from the Holy Quran and from such highly significant events. At the very least, these events should provide the Ummah with awareness and insight. Considering these events, the Ummah must not fail to gain awareness, insight, and the ability to distinguish and categorise people. The Ummah must not remain confused about issues, priorities, and concerns.
This is the Ummah for which Allah intended to draw lessons and insights from what the Holy Quran mentioned about the stories of past nations and events that took place tens of thousands of years ago. The Quran presents them so that this Ummah can gain lessons and insights, but here is the Ummah experiencing such events first hand. There are daily and major events that are filled with lessons and insights; these are clear, recent, and intuitive truths and a criterion that helps one distinguish, discern, and categorise so that the correct path and the right position become clear, which undoubtedly lie in supporting the Palestinian people, standing by them, backing their unifying cause, and focusing all efforts on this priority.
It is clear and even evident in reality that the front of Israel and America—which are essentially one same front—is the front of evil, disbelief, tyranny, oppression, crime, and aggression. It is the foremost, real, and greatest threat to our Islamic Ummah. So, where do you stand? And what is your position? Do you move in the direction the Americans and the Israelis want, are comfortable with, encourage, and incite, which is a clear one?
The Americans and the Israelis want our Ummah to sink into internal disputes, conflicts, and problems, especially those that involve banners of a sectarian nature. This whets their appetite and brings them great comfort and utmost delight. When your focus shifts entirely away from the Palestinian cause—abandoning it, erasing it from your concerns, and heading in a completely different direction—it aligns with what the Americans want and encourage.
But can such a direction be pleasing to Allah when it is exactly what the Americans and the Israelis desire, promote, and benefit from so clearly? It goes without saying that it is in the best interest of the Israeli enemy to see any conflict and any flames of discord ignited within the Ummah at this stage to increase division and fragmentation and distract it from the Palestinian cause. These are straightforward, obvious truths, not ambiguous matters requiring geniuses, philosophers, or thinkers to deduce. They are entirely self-evident.
The pleasure of Allah (the Almighty) will never align with what the Americans and the Israelis desire or strive to establish within our Ummah: division, discord, conflict, and complete distraction from the significant issues and the true enemy.
It is, therefore, unfortunate that some choose to fuel internal strife and stir up domestic problems with enthusiasm, desire, effort, and generosity, instead of supporting the unifying and important cause or standing up for the immense injustice faced by the Palestinian people. They show stinginess and apathy toward the vital cause, neglecting and ignoring their responsibilities. But when it comes to strife, they appear active, ready to contribute generously and engage seriously even by offering media support for such strife, which aims to curry favour with the Americans and Israelis. This is deeply regrettable! The turmoil in countries neighbouring Palestine serves the Israeli enemy directly: When the flames of discord are fanned these countries, this provides a direct service to the Israeli enemy, a fact that is clear and profoundly distressing.
Therefore, it is deeply regrettable that some regimes seek to offer a token of obedience to Trump in advance by destroying and burning other countries and serving the Israeli enemy while also taking no practical action in support of the Palestinian people! This makes it crucial for our Islamic peoples in Arab countries and beyond to remain vigilant and aware, keeping their eyes open to events. They must keep focusing on the Palestinian cause, refusing to be distracted, sidelined, or diverted away from this critical and fundamental issue that deserves their constant and enduring attention. It is important to understand that both the Americans and the Israelis aim to completely divert attention away from the Palestinian cause to ultimately eliminate it. They seek to achieve this by taking advantage of the atmosphere of total distraction and the efforts to open fronts against anyone who supports or stands with the Palestinian people. It is very important to understand this.
Regarding Palestinian resilience, despite the immense suffering, our fellow mujahidin in Gaza continue to carry out great heroic operations against the Israeli enemy, even powerful ones, demonstrating immense courage. These operations include:
a series of ambushes inflicting significant harm on the Israeli enemy, carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades under the title ‘Avenging the Blood of the Heroic Martyr Yahya Al-Sinwar’;
rocket attacks targeting settlements of the so-called Gaza Envelope; and heroic operations carried out by the Al-Quds Brigades, along with the operations carried out by the other resistance factions in Gaza and the honourable and free mujahidin in the West Bank.
Regarding the Support Fronts, this week saw joint operations between the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, as three operations were carried out targeting vital assets of the Israeli enemy in both northern and southern occupied Palestine. These joint operations serve as an important model of cooperation and unity of efforts and represent a right path that pleases Allah (the Almighty) and should inspire the entire Islamic Ummah, for among the important principles of its religion and sacred obligations in Islam are to hold firmly to the rope of Allah together; to cooperate in acts of righteousness and taqwa; and to act as one united Ummah in the cause of Allah, as He (the Almighty) said, {‘as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly’}[As-Saf 61:4].
Every step in this right direction expresses cooperation and solidarity, and it is a blessed, great, and important step. Therefore, I would like to extend my greetings to our dear brothers in the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. Allah willing, these joint operations have their important impact and resonance against the enemy itself: The enemy is greatly disturbed by this and has often expressed its annoyance. In fact, there are many statements expressing the Israeli annoyance regarding this. They also have a positive and significant impact on the masses of our Ummah who adopt this conscious and insightful jihadist orientation in supporting the Palestinian people—such an orientation that understands who the enemy is that the people of Ummah from all countries should collectively cooperate to confront from all directions. Also, the Iraqi front is a powerful and active front against the Israeli enemy. There are many conscious people among the Iraqi people with a free and noble jihadist orientation, and this is something significant that disturbs the Israeli enemy.
Regarding the Yemeni front in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad, this week has witnessed significant operations. Some of these operations targeted the Israeli enemy in occupied Jaffa, specifically aiming at Ben Gurion Airport. Some others targeted occupied Asqalan. There was also a major and important operation at sea that targeted several American warships, as well as a vessel that had previously violated the ban concerning the Israeli enemy. The total number of targeted ships has reached two hundred and eleven. As we mentioned, careful search-and-hunt efforts are made to target ships linked to the enemies.
This operation significantly affected and disturbed the Americans. American warships and navy vessels are now fleeing and trying to keep close to other ships such as Chinese ships. Some Chinese media noted this tactic employed by the Americans, as their warships or vessels fled to shield themselves with Chinese ships. This caught the attention of the Chinese, and some of their media outlets documented this situation, which they found amusing and surprising—that the Americans had reached such a level.
Regarding public activities, they continue to take place widely, thanks to Allah. This includes the mobilisation of forces effort, which involves training, preparation, military marches, and manoeuvres. All of these activities are ongoing, and the mobilisation effort is extremely important; therefore, I urge everyone who has the opportunity to join mobilisation training programs and has not yet done so, to join them, as this is essential for those who have not previously participated in military training.
It is important for the sons of our dear people to strive for this, even though, as we often say, they are mujahidin and fighters by nature, equipped with weapons and combat skills. However, training is a crucial part of the preparation that Allah commanded in the Holy Quran when He said, {‘Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power’}[Al-Anfal 8:60].
When we reflect on the reality of our enemies—how they pay great attention to all elements of power that can benefit them, although they are in the position of the oppressor, the criminal, and the aggressor that targets our Ummah and adopts an aggressive attitude—we see a sharp contrast in priorities. For example, regarding the Israeli enemy, we observe their intense focus on training and preparation. They maintain a substantial reserve force, even comprising individuals who are not regular military personnel, but who are eager to acquire combat skills for when the need arises. They are keen to obtain all elements of power when it comes to weaponry and securing all types of arms.
Who among the peoples of our Ummah demonstrates more diligence in this regard than the Israeli enemy? When it comes to bomb shelters and reinforced rooms, there are tens of thousands of reinforced rooms and shelters that the Israeli enemy has prioritised because they want to remain safe while they target the peoples of our Ummah.
In contrast, our Arab countries focus on constructing massive, multi-storey buildings, only for Israeli aggression to bring them down with bombs. Our Arab countries take great delight in having high residential towers, only to be razed to the ground by just three or four bombs! Such towers may be inhibited by a high number of people, which increases the tragedy. In contrast, the Israeli enemy is busy building infrastructure; just recently, they announced plans to build ten thousand bomb shelters and reinforced rooms in northern occupied Palestine. This demonstrates their significant focus on every element of power: training, preparation, reserve forces, and extensive activities aimed at all those associated with that criminal, aggressive entity.
It is we who should seek this, since we are a targeted and oppressed nation that has right on its side and is not an aggressive or hostile nation. But for our Ummah to reach such a state of indifference even regarding the matter of defending itself is truly regrettable. All elements of power should be pursued, especially since we are the nation to whom Allah has said, {‘Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power’}[Al-Anfal 8:60]. Therefore, it is we who should seek all elements of power. Many young people who have not yet benefited from military training programs can benefit from them now.
Demonstrations, marches, events, and public assemblies continue to thrive remarkably. The massive weekly turnout, with millions participating, will remain a bright and shining chapter in the history of our dear people. There is no other nation that has engaged in such activity for any cause, even within our own history. This turnout is characterised by several important features:
It is driven by faith, which is of utmost importance. It is for the sake of Allah and in obedience and response to Him, the Almighty. It expresses a position and cry of truth in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and against the enemies of Allah and humanity: the Zionist Jews and their partners. This is a crucial matter.
It is marked by an unprecedented popular momentum. Our people do mobilise in the millions, with hundreds of thousands flooding into the squares in various governorates, especially in Sana’a (where people participate in huge numbers), in districts, and in rural areas. This vast popular momentum demonstrates the widespread awareness of our people and reflects their popular interest and their deeply-rooted identity of faith—they surpassed all other peoples in mobilising and participating at such an extensive level that reflects widespread awareness and a profound sense of responsibility. In fact, the enemies take this very seriously.
Another remarkable aspect is that it is part of a comprehensive position, alongside missile and drone strikes, naval operations, contributions for the sake of Allah, training and preparation programs for battle and participation. We have long wished and demanded that our dear people be given the opportunity for direct participation, but geographical obstacles and countries that have aligned themselves with the enemies have hindered this aspiration.
Furthermore, the continuous commitment every week, throughout most of this period, without fatigue, weariness, or slackness, holds immense significance.
It is disappointing to see the situation of most Arab nations, especially when demonstrations in other countries almost never cease. This week, demonstrations took place in Australia, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Britain, Germany, Belgium, the United States, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
Although demonstrations are occurring almost weekly in many countries, people in many Arab countries remain silent and inactive.
Last Friday, on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, there were also demonstrations in many countries, including South America and Latin America. Leaders and politicians participated, with the President of Venezuela attending the International Conference in Solidarity with Palestine. He stated, ‘If you look at the reasons for the struggles since the last century to create a just world, the Palestinian cause is the most just cause for humanity,’ driven by a strong sense of human conscience. It is also noteworthy that protests took place in dozens of Spanish cities. In the Maghreb region, demonstrations supporting the Palestinian people also continued, despite police repression of some of them.
America is betting on apathy and boredom, hoping that the voice of the people will fade away so that the Israelis can continue their crimes. However, the active participation of our dear people, as reflected in various media interviews and the presence of different segments of society—in fact, we see some of the wounded and disabled joining the demonstrations, and we also see elderly individuals doing the same, despite their age. They all participate with great enthusiasm! Their participation signifies their great interest, awareness, sense of responsibility, and deep sorrow for the suffering of the Palestinian people. It signifies their sincere commitment to support the Palestinian people and stand for the cause of Allah. The nature of this participation is evident in the statements of the young, old, and children to the media, in their facial expressions, in their chants, and in their cries: All of this demonstrates the conscious nature of this participation and the fact that it is considered to be part of their jihad for the sake of Allah. Therefore, it is essential to continue this momentum and activity. One of the most important characteristics of this mobilisation is showing persistence and endurance and continuing to stand on guard. Indeed, this is part of our commitment to standing on guard and responding to the call of Allah, as stated in His saying, {‘O believers! Patiently endure, persevere, stand on guard, and be mindful of Allah, so you may be successful’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:200].
I call upon our dear people to take to the streets in millions tomorrow, Allah willing, in the capital, Sana’a (in the Sabaeen Square), and in the other governorates and districts according to the established arrangements.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us all success in seeking what pleases Him, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, and set free our captives. We also ask Him to hasten victory and relief for the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin and make perfect the victory for the mujahidin of Hezbollah and the dear Lebanese people.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
