Gaza Ministry of Health: The sector is in a state of total destruction and hospitals are operating at a minimum level

The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir al-Barash, said that the sector is in a state of total destruction and is facing an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.

Al-Barash indicated in a press statement today, Saturday, that 70% of the martyrs in the sector are women and children.

He explained that the Israeli enemy is deliberately destroying life in the sector and making it uninhabitable.

He explained that the hospitals are operating at a minimum level, and we cannot send fuel or medical supplies.

He added, “We have a 60% deficit in essential medicines.” Al-Barash called on the international community to provide a safe passage between Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda hospitals.

In turn, the Director of Field Hospitals at the Ministry of Health, Marwan al-Hamas, said that the situation is catastrophic and the hospitals are full of the wounded and injured.

Al-Hamas added in a press statement on Saturday, “We do not have specialized doctors, services, medicines or medical supplies.”

He explained that the dead are dying due to the lack of medicines and the depletion of oxygen.

For the 435th consecutive day, the Zionist enemy continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 151 thousand martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11 thousand missing, amid massive destruction.

The Israeli enemy entity ignores two arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court on November 21 against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians in Gaza.
