A child dies due to severe cold in Gaza Strip

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Monday, the death of the child Youssef Ahmed Anwar Kalloub, who was not more than 35 days old as a result of the harsh weather conditions and severe cold that the Gaza Strip is suffering from.

The ministry indicated in a brief statement that this incident comes within the framework of the increasing number of deaths resulting from the severe cold, as the total number of deaths so far has reached 8 cases.

The displaced people live inside tents made of cloth and nylon, in harsh humanitarian conditions due to the scarcity of basic life necessities such as water and food, in addition to a severe shortage of clothing, fish covers and heating devices during the winter.
