Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Occasion of the Historic Victory of the Palestinian People and Their Dear Mujahidin in the Gaza Strip
Monday, the 20th of Rajab 1446 A.H. (the 20th of January 2025 A.D.)
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran, {‘Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory’}[Al-Hajj 22:39]. This is the word of truth from Allah, the Almighty.
On the occasion of this great historical victory, which Allah has bestowed upon the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, after fifteen months of genocide and brutal, criminal Israeli aggression with American partnership, we first turn to Allah with praise and thanks, the Lord of the worlds, the supporter of the oppressed, the humiliator of the arrogant, and the conqueror of tyrants and oppressors. All praise and favour are due to Him. He is the One Who assisted our fellow mujahidin in the Gaza Strip; He strengthened their resolve, guided their aim, bestowed tranquillity upon them, fortified their hearts, and granted them victory. He is the One Who has granted the Palestinian people in Gaza steadfastness and resilience, despite the enemy’s brutality and tyranny, as well as its perpetration of genocide by all means of extermination and utter criminality.
Then, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to the Palestinian people, in all their factions and components, both inside and outside Palestine, first and foremost their dear mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, including the Al-Qassam Brigades, along with the Al-Quds Brigades and the other steadfast, sacrificing factions—those factions that united and collaborated with the Al-Qassam Brigades side by side, shoulder to shoulder, fighting the Israeli enemy and confronting its brutal aggression with unparalleled bravery, dedication, and steadfastness. This cooperation, based on a decisive decision to confront the enemy and resist its aggression, regardless of the scale of sacrifices and the level of challenges faced, coupled with patience and valour, has significantly contributed to the great results that Allah granted them.
Allah has blessed the steadfastness of our fellow mujahidin in Gaza, their patience, their struggle, and their sacrifices, as He gave them tranquillity, strengthened their hearts, and granted them steadfastness, support, guidance, and victory. They fought with simple and limited resources under severe siege, compared to what was at the disposal of the Israeli enemy, along with the significant support provided by the Americans, including the most lethal weapons and the most advanced military means of destruction and killing.
This is not to mention the difficult circumstances, including devastating aggression, a comprehensive invasion, intense aerial surveillance, non-stop intelligence operations, and extremely complex conditions. The enemy, with American and British involvement, mobilised everything that could allow it to destroy any resistance activity and eliminate any opposing jihadist movement. The circumstances were extremely challenging, as the enemy targeted their community and their families in Gaza through killing, extermination, starvation, and comprehensive destruction, eradication of all means of life, and so on.
Despite their immense sacrifices with caravans of martyrs including prominent leaders—such as Ismail Haniyeh, Al-Arouri, and Al-Sinwar (May Allah have mercy on them) and other important leaders on the battlefield—and from the fighters on the ground, as well as the wounded individuals, their willpower remained unbroken: {‘And they did not waver regardless of that which afflicted them in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor did they give in. And Allah loves the patient ones’}[Ali ‘Imran 3:146]. This is not to mention the prevailing official Arab passivity and the negative position of some Arab regimes, sadly including the Palestinian Authority!
Despite all that, they were granted success, assistance, and steadfastness by Allah. Thus, they were steadfast and active in their jihad, heroically confronting the Israeli enemy. They excelled in adapting to various military conditions, innovating the necessary tactics, and even utilising some unexploded enemy bombs. They fought even with edged weapons, executing heroic and martyrdom operations that will remain in their magnificent historical record, inspiring future generations. In fact, the operation of Al-Aqsa Flood itself represents a qualitative leap in the Palestinian jihadist effort. Additionally, this remarkable steadfastness shown over fifteen months, with its achievements and creativity, is a significant and vital transition and a successful experience.
One should also consider the steadfastness shown by the resistance movements in their political position, as the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) carried the banner of jihad in the political arena with unwavering determination. It did not succumb to the pressures and attempts at extortion aimed at forcing it to accept a surrender formula that would compromise the rights of the Palestinian people and grant the enemy through negotiations what it could not achieve on the military field. The rounds of negotiations, along with the discussions before and between them, served as a true arena for political confrontation, considering the immense American and Western pressures, alongside the pressures faced in the Gaza Strip. However, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) remained steadfast, along with the Islamic Jihad Movement and the other Palestinian factions, in complete cooperation and with a spirit of brotherhood, until important results were achieved that preserved Palestinian rights and the significant outcomes of the jihadist efforts in Gaza.
Furthermore, this is also due to the steadfastness shown by the Palestinian popular base of support despite the genocide carried out by all means—killing and starvation, along with injuries and sickness, the biting cold, complete blockade, and the destruction of all the essentials of life. In addition to that, there are the sacrifices made by the West Bank, the heroic operations, and the actions carried out by self-sacrificing mujahidin in various regions of Palestine.
This patience, these sacrifices, this effort, and these endeavours are a great sacrifice to Allah (the Almighty), a significant contribution, and an important offering that Allah has blessed and allowed to have such crucial results, which will continue on an upward trajectory, Allah willing. They represent a significant leap in the field of confrontation against the Israeli enemy to a more an advanced level, which holds paramount significance for the future of the Palestinian people, the demise of the temporary occupying entity, and the fulfillment of the inevitable divine promise.
Some may not fully grasp the importance of what has been achieved, but it suffices them to know that there is an Israeli consensus on the failure of the criminal Netanyahu. It is enough for them to know that the ‘day after war’ that the criminal Netanyahu kept talking about while painting a picture of Israeli victory—where they would eliminate the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Al-Qassam Brigades, along with the Palestinian jihadist factions in Gaza, and impose total Israeli control there—clearly turned out yesterday to be a day of victory for the Palestinian people and for the Palestinian mujahidin. Indeed, it was a spirited day in Gaza, where the resistance factions appeared victorious.
Following the Al-Aqsa Flood, one of the most significant and distinguishing aspects that was seen in this round of confrontation with the Israeli enemy and that marked a pivotal moment in the history of the struggle against the Israeli enemy, is the support fronts. They stood with the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin, providing unprecedented and unwavering support:
One of these fronts is the support front in Lebanon, where Hezbollah offered tremendous sacrifices, including its leaders, cadres, and fighting members, in unprecedented support of the Palestinian people. Its contributions inflicted suffering upon the Israeli enemy and involved engaging in major operations and comprehensive confrontations, and it managed to exhaust the enemy to a huge extent, inflict suffering and severe losses on the enemy during its great jihadist work and during the phase of confronting Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
There is also the support front in Iraq, which continued its operations until recently, with some of its factions remaining active without interruption until victory was achieved.
The Islamic Republic of Iran also played a role, as it continued its unwavering support despite pressures and temptations, alongside its large-scale, destructive, and unprecedented actions in Operation True Promise.
And there is also the support front in Yemen (the land of faith), which has surprised the world with its strong position, ongoing commitment, steadfastness, popular momentum, and the high ceiling of the position.
We will speak here in detail, albeit briefly, about the Yemeni position. Our discussion about the Yemeni position is not for the sake of boasting or for self-aggrandisement, since it is a fulfillment of a sacred duty and represents a religious responsibility, and it has been achieved by the grace of Allah, the Almighty. This is why we say: {‘Praise is to Allah, who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us’}[Al-A’raf 7:43]. However, it is important for us to discuss this significant experience in order to build upon what has been achieved in the present and the future.
First, we will talk about the features of this position. The first feature of the Yemeni position is that it is the fruit of the faith-based movement and the Quranic orientation of our dear people, which embodies the prophetic saying, ‘The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites.’ This movement and orientation have allowed our dear people to move from mere emotional feelings, psychological empathy, and limited, superficial engagement to a sense of responsibility and a practical jihadist stand on all fronts.
At the emotional level, many members of our Islamic Ummah feel empathy for the Palestinian people and their immense suffering and injustice. However, for many, this empathy is not translated into practical action; it may reach limited levels depending on their circumstances and the conditions in their countries. In our reality here in Yemen, this position has allowed our dear people to go beyond this empathy by bringing about a sense of religious, moral, humanitarian, and faith-based responsibility and translating it into comprehensive jihadist actions.
The second notable feature of the Yemeni position is that the government and the people follow one same direction and adopt one same position even with a high ceiling. This this why America, along with its allies, did not succeed in influencing this position through the methods it typically uses in other countries, where it pushes the governments to restrict the positions of their peoples. It often mobilises regimes, governments, and leaders in some countries to pressure their peoples and restrain them from any movement, sometimes allowing no action at all or keeping action within a limited level that does not rise to the level of responsibility and what is required. Sometimes, America employs a strategy of inciting the people of this or that country and some popular components among them by waving various banners and creating problems, crises, and issues in order to retaliate against the official stance.
We have seen what happened to some leaders in some Islamic countries who opposed American policy and hegemony and the Israeli enemy: America invented some issues to target them through bodies within their own regimes or their militaries or through taking advantage of public sentiment and orchestrated either a coup or a movement to overthrow them, effectively ending their influence and presence.
However, America has failed in Yemen due to the unified position of the government and the people. It could neither mobilise the official position to restrain the people nor influence the Yemeni people to pressure the official position in any way by fabricating issues, crises, or banners. This harmonious, collective movement has proved to be significant feature, with the official position genuinely and clearly reflecting the grassroots position.
Another thing to mention here is the practical action characterised by making comprehensive efforts on all fronts, starting with military operations and their escalating phases, despite the complexities faced in reality. In fact, what our dear people desired, wished for, and demanded was mobilisation and direct participation in the fighting alongside the mujahidin in Palestine. If the circumstances had allowed it, we were prepared to send hundreds of thousands to strive for the sake of Allah, supporting the Palestinian people through direct combat alongside the mujahidin in Palestine. However, the long distance and the geographical barrier remained an obstacle that prevented that from happening, as those regimes, governments, and countries between us and Palestine refused to open safe land routes and crossings for us to reach Palestine and participate alongside the Palestinian people in Gaza.
We were closely monitoring the course of events after the operation of Al-Aqsa Flood, which represented a significant and highly critical milestone. Thanks to its impact, the Palestinian cause has undoubtedly reached an advanced stage. We were tracking the unfolding events, coordinating with our brothers in the Axis of Resistance and other supporting fronts, and we made a decision, which we publicly announced in a televised speech: If the Israeli enemy crossed the red lines, we would proceed with military operations in support of the Palestinian people and their mujahidin in Gaza. The red lines we referred to were any acts by the Israeli enemy that involved committing mass massacres, conducting a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, or targeting the structure of the Islamic Resistance in Gaza in a way that would harm and impact it.
When the Israeli enemy committed its grave crime by targeting Al-Ahli Hospital, known as Al-Mamdani Hospital, we decided that same night to intervene with military support. This decision was made because the Israeli enemy had crossed the red lines and carried out a genocidal massacre. That night, we planned for the first supporting military operation to be a surprise and sudden strike against the enemies. However, due to American surveillance activities in the Yemeni airspace, they monitored our movements and preparations for the operation, and as a result, they sent us a message containing threats, warnings, and intimidation. By the grace of Allah, our response to them was a strong one, and we affirmed our steadfastness in our position. We decided to carry out the operation that morning, even though we knew that the Americans would try to intercept the missiles and drones. Therefore, we chose to proceed with the operation using missiles and drones targeting Umm Al-Rashrash and southern Palestine. This operation, aimed at Umm Al-Rashrash in southern Palestine, which the enemy refers to as Eilat, was our first phase in military support operations and all that we could do at the time. The Americans, with the assistance of certain Arab regimes, were prepared to intercept the missiles and drones. While they succeeded in intercepting some, others were able to reach their target.
We proceeded with these operations while also considering an additional option to increase effectiveness and apply more pressure on the enemy. We decided to incorporate naval operations as an additional approach alongside missile strikes on the occupied Palestinian territories, specifically targeting the enemy in Umm Al-Rashrash and southern Palestine. This marked our second phase.
By the grace of Allah, the naval operations began successfully and were blessed, surprising the Israeli enemy, the Americans, and the whole world. It began with the direct capture of an Israeli ship. This operation, along with the footage documented during its execution, had a strong impact, reverberated widely, and laid important groundwork for the operations that followed.
The Americans were deeply concerned and intensified their presence with their warships and naval activities at sea to protect Israeli vessels. The Israelis were extremely furious. From the moment we took control of the Israeli ship, there were statements from the criminal Netanyahu, senior Israeli military leaders, and other high-ranking Israeli criminals, reflecting the extreme anger, humiliation, and resentment they felt. However, the naval operations continued, despite the extensive efforts by the Americans to protect Israeli vessels. These operations were carried out with full cooperation between the naval forces—who were the first to offer martyrs for the sake of Allah in these operations—the missile forces, and the drone forces. These three units of the Yemeni armed forces played a huge role in these military operations, which were carried out through persistent effort, sacrifices, steadfastness, and tireless work. We ask Allah to grant them reward and accept their jihad and sacrifices.
The Americans intensified their deployment in the seas and sought assistance from the Europeans in this matter. They, along with the Europeans who collaborated with them, focused on intercepting missiles and drones, as well as escorting Israeli ships. However, despite all of this, they failed. Their interception strategies were met with a barrage of drones and missiles, so even when they managed to intercept some, others still reached their targets. As a result, the naval operations successfully targeted Israeli ships, impacting their movement and activity.
Afterwards, efforts were made to develop missiles, drones, and warboats, and significant results and important advancements were achieved in this area. The enemies (the Americans and others) were surprised when they saw ballistic missiles used in naval operations for the first time in history. That is because ballistic missiles are typically used to target fixed land-based objectives rather than moving targets at sea. This came as a great shock to them. In fact, this success was achieved by the grace of Allah (the Almighty) and through the technical efforts of the brothers in the missile forces. This was also accompanied by achieving significant results in developing drones and warboats. As a result of these advancements, their ability to intercept became weaker—whether in dealing with ballistic missiles used in naval operations or in countering the developed drones and warboats. The impact was profound, causing the Israeli enemy to fear to keep maintaining the movement of its ships and completely cease such activities.
By the grace of Allah (the Almighty), during that critical phase, our armed forces succeeded in completely halting the Israeli enemy’s direct navigation activity in the Red Sea through the ships it owned. The Israeli enemy shifted to another method, which was transporting goods on ships owned by other companies and countries so that its goods would be carried on their ships instead of its own. Although, it had previously relied on camouflage tactics, such as sailing without displaying the Israeli flag while passing through the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab, and also disguising its ships under the names of other countries and companies. However, they failed, and this strategy was uncovered through organised and robust intelligence efforts and significant breakthroughs in information gathering by the armed forces. Thus, the enemy resorted to transporting its goods using ships belonging to other countries and companies. Targeting these ships also marked a new step and a highly sensitive phase. However, before any targeting occurred, warnings were issued to the companies, to the countries of those companies, and even to the ships themselves while they were in motion before being targeted.
Moving to this phase caused significant distress for both the Americans and the Israelis because it meant completely preventing the Israelis from transporting their goods, whether for export or import, through the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab strait through any means: neither through their own ships, even when disguised, which had already failed, nor through other ships. This directly impacted the Israeli economy.
As a result, the Americans moved to a new phase of escalation and tried to gather support from other countries, but they failed; only the British joined them. They escalated by launching aggression against our country in support of Israel, which they publicly announced. Due to their failures in intercepting, they sought to target missile infrastructure—launch sites, factories, storage facilities—and the operations where missiles and drones were launched from our country.
The aggressive operations carried out by the Americans against our country were accompanied by intense aerial surveillance, using satellites and all types of spy planes relied upon by the Americans, as they tried to detect missile infrastructure, including launch platforms, storage facilities, and factories. The Americans attempted to intensify their targeting of the infrastructure, but they failed in that. And the scope of operations expanded from the Red Sea, the Bab Al-Mandab strait, and the Gulf of Aden to the Arabian Sea, marking a significant new phase and a significant leap in the operations. It further extended to the farthest reaches of the Arabian Sea and into the Indian Ocean and alongside Socotra. These were also major accomplishments and an escalation in operations that had an impact on the enemies.
Naval operations expanded into the Mediterranean Sea, and this step was taken in coordination with our brothers in the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. However, this path faced many obstacles due to the significant pressures on our brothers in the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. As a result, this route was not as effective as we had hoped, and we were looking forward to strengthening it further. Regarding the Indian Ocean, we achieved certain levels of success, but the enemies moved further away into the depths of the Indian Ocean, which required us to further develop our capabilities to reach greater distances in the Indian Ocean.
The Americans also failed to protect ships belonging to or carrying goods for the Israeli enemy. Maritime activity associated with the Israeli enemy has completely halted across the Red Sea, the Bab Al-Mandab strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea. As a result, the port of Umm Al-Rashrash, which the enemy calls Eilat, ceased operations entirely. This is the only Palestinian port on the Red Sea, and the enemy heavily relied on it for its maritime activities in the Red Sea. This has had a significant economic impact on the enemy, as they lost the revenue they were generating from this port and what they were exporting through it for trade. Additionally, the operations greatly affected southern Palestine and Umm Al-Rashrash, turning the area into a nearly deserted region lacking any economic or tourism activity, which has had a considerable impact on the enemy.
Regarding the missile and drone forces, they continued their operations targeting the enemy in Palestine and kept enhancing capabilities to overcome interception efforts by the Americans and the Israelis as well. A significant achievement was the development of the Jaffa drone, which was used at advanced stages to target occupied Jaffa, which the enemy calls Tel Aviv. This location represents a critical administrative centre for the enemy in its occupied territory. Additionally, we developed the Palestine missile, marking a real advancement in missile technology, allowing us to reach occupied Jaffa and any location in occupied Palestine to strike Israeli targets.
This advancement greatly disturbed the Israeli enemy, which found itself incapable of preventing these operations. It became a powerful front that haunted and affected the enemy. The Israeli enemy could not overcome these operations by relying on American or British support. Consequently, the Israeli enemy found itself in a difficult position, and it then started to chastise and blame the Americans for their failure to provide protection!
The Americans were very disturbed, which was why they escalated their aggression against our country and used new means in their aggressive escalation:
They used stealth aircraft. These are possibly the latest in American military aviation. They brought these aircraft from America to conduct aggressive bombing operations in our country before returning home. As we have learned and as is publicly known, these aircraft are not stationed at U.S. military bases in other countries due to their significant importance and advanced capabilities, so the Americans keep them in America to carry out operations from there and then return. Therefore, the Americans must have considered such operations as a major escalation and a significant step in their efforts to prevent Yemeni operations carried out in support of the Palestinian people and their mujahidin.
They also used B-52 bombers. These are among the most powerful weapons in the American air arsenal, relied upon by the Americans and held in high regard by major powers and their armies.
The Americans also intensified aerial surveillance. Despite all this, they failed. They attempted to escalate their air force operations, even using these assets, which are deployed rarely and in exceptional cases, yet they still failed. Operations continued, whether through missile fire, drones, naval operations, or other support operations to occupied Palestine targeting the Israeli enemy.
The Americans deployed aircraft carriers, which they once used to intimidate their major rivals and opponents globally. They brought these carriers to the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, yet even then, one of the aircraft carriers was targeted and had to go into defence mode instead of being in an offensive position. Many of the targeting operations coincided with their preparations for conducting aggressive actions against our country. Due to the intensity of the targeting and the frequency of operations against them, the Americans were forced to withdraw the aircraft carrier Roosevelt from the Red Sea, followed by the Lincoln from the Arabian Sea. They even brought in the aircraft carrier Truman, which continuously fled during every engagement, retreating to the far northern Red Sea and positioning itself over a thousand kilometres away from the Yemeni coasts. Consequently, whenever it approached to carry out an operation, it was targeted and therefore immediately fled, which also forced the aircraft to return quickly before the carrier left the operational theater.
That level of escalation also failed to pressure the Yemeni operations to stop. Despite being a significant step in American military pressure, the aircraft carriers were unable to provide a deterrent effect to prevent or actually halt the Yemeni operations, neither through deterrence nor through action and interception. As a result, military operations continued with missile fire, drone strikes, and naval operations, and they did not stop until this victory was achieved, thanks to Allah.
The ground armed forces were also in a state of constant readiness, always on standby to respond to any aggressive ground attempts. They made continuous efforts to maintain their presence, vigilance, and preparedness through training and qualification, focusing on all that can ensure high readiness to counter any ground military escalation. This was related to the military path, which saw significant advancements, thanks to Allah, as well as facing many of the American war tactics and the means and methods of escalation that the Americans relied upon.
The situation escalated to the point where the Israelis became directly involved after the Americans failed to protect them and were also unable to intercept the missiles that were penetrating their airspace. The Israeli defence systems in place could not intercept or prevent these missiles, which had a significant and pressing impact on the Israeli enemy: The state of panic and fear escalated, causing millions of Zionist settlers to flee from their beds to the shelters—sometimes as many as five million or more fleeing in the middle of the night or late at night in a state of terror and chaos, where some were even trampled in the rush. This is not to mention the direct impact on the Israeli enemy and on its economy and air traffic to Ben Gurion Airport, along with other direct effects on the enemy, in addition to the impact of naval operations.
The repeated Israeli aggression achieved no results and never succeeded in pressuring the Yemeni operations to stop, which continued to escalate significantly, especially in recent weeks, occurring almost daily. This was about the military operations, which were carried out with the highest level of effort and with great boldness. These operations were driven by a deep sense of faith and responsibility and a jihadist commitment for the sake of Allah and required efforts and sacrifices made by the missile forces and the brothers in the drone forces, along with other formations that have made significant contributions to these operations. Our mujahidin in the missile forces were the ones who led the charge.
Regarding the public activities, the popular mobilisation in Yemen has been distinctive and different from that in many other countries. There is a stark contrast between the situation in the passive, silent, and constrained countries and the high level of popular mobilisation in Yemen.
There has been extensive activity, including:
Military mobilisation—this has been a crucial path where hundreds of thousands of Yemeni citizens have been trained through various activities, such as military drills, parades, and military marches. This mobilisation is still ongoing and, Allah willing, will continue to grow stronger.
Hundreds of thousands of diverse gatherings were held, including numerous women’s gatherings, which numbered in the thousands. There were also gatherings involving various segments of Yemeni society, gatherings held by university students, gatherings held as part of social activism, and significant and huge tribal gatherings. These events have encompassed the various segments of society. There were also intensive activities such as evenings of discussion and symposia. Altogether, these intense activities amounted to hundreds of thousands.
There were also the weekly million-strong demonstrations, which continued for 15 months with tremendous popular momentum, in hundreds of squares, most notably in Al-Sabeen Square in Sana’a, unmatched anywhere in the world for any cause. These weekly million-strong demonstrations continued tirelessly, without fatigue or decline, and the massive image of millions of Yemenis in Al-Sabeen Square and other squares across the country remained a weekly sight for the world, without diminishing, fading, or disappearing.
This continuity was of great significance because one of the biggest challenges faced by many people, especially in the Arab world, is boredom, fatigue, and apathy. However, this remarkable level of weekly participation without any signs of weariness was driven by a faith-based motivation. There was a consistent commitment in all circumstances:
in the intense heat, particularly in the eastern regions, in Al-Jawf, with its deserts and areas that experience extreme summer temperatures, as well as in Marib, Al-Hudaydah, and certain districts of Hajjah Governorate, and throughout Tihama—in many areas;
during harsh cold even in very cold regions;
in the rain, demonstrators still take to the streets, wading through the floodwaters to participate in the protests;
during the month of Ramadan while fasting; and
in the midst of bombings and escalated aggression, sometimes the escalation would occur at night, and then people would come out during the day; other times it would happen in the morning, and people would take to the streets at noon. Recently, in places like Sana’a, Amran, and Al-Hudaydah, demonstrations took place near bombings, with people standing firm despite the shelling happening right next to them. This scene was a powerful display of steadfastness, composure, cohesion, and courage.
This unwavering presence in all situations and circumstances saw participation from all groups—elderly and youth individuals, young and old people—engaging with great enthusiasm. Their chants, slogans, rifles, and daggers all expressed this enthusiasm, evident even in the expressions on their faces.
These continuous popular million-strong demonstrations sent a powerful message to the enemies due to the scale of public engagement, and this was also deeply discouraging for them: When the enemies look at this image of public engagement, they feel desperate, as they do not know how they can deal with this and what they can do about it.
Also, these demonstrations represented a powerful message of solidarity with the Palestinian people, who found a people cheering with them, shouting for their cause, supporting them, sharing their pain and hopes, and standing with them in genuine solidarity. This carried great significance.
These weekly million-strong demonstrations offered significant support to the military operations and the escalation pathways and phases, and they were also aligned with them and the official position. Alongside the massive turnout, there was also financial support. People strove in the cause of Allah with their lives and their wealth despite the very difficult circumstances, including the poor. In fact, the majority of the Yemeni population is living under challenging conditions and poverty due to the long-standing blockade and the enemy’s control over the country’s oil resources and other wealth.
The popular position was not affected by the propaganda campaigns, despite the fact that the Americans organised the largest media and propaganda campaign against the Yemeni people, aimed at influencing the Yemeni people’s position, through sowing doubt, raising issues, smearing, and more—operating non-stop, 24 hours a day. Yet, they failed completely and utterly to impact the popular position.
The Yemeni position was unaffected by all forms of pressure: military, political, economic, and even humanitarian pressures. There were also never-ending threats, but the Yemeni people remained steadfast in their position, with their finger on the trigger.
As for what has been achieved so far, and with the significant victory that Allah has granted our fellow mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, and now that the agreement is moving into implementation stages, we are closely monitoring the progress and the implementation stages of this agreement. At every stage, we are ready to escalate if the Israeli enemy escalates again and violates the agreement. We remain in a constant state of readiness and have our finger on the trigger, and our operations are tied to how well the enemy adheres to the agreement.
Looking ahead to what follows this in the present and the future, the Palestinian issue is not over: The Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy sites, the Palestinian people’s right to freedom and independence, and the cleansing and liberation of all of Palestine from Israeli occupation—this is a persistent cause, and we, as well as all Muslims, still have responsibilities towards this cause. Therefore, we focus on preparing for the upcoming rounds. Certainly, there will be new rounds in the future. What has happened is one round that lasted 15 months, and there are more rounds to come that we are also preparing for, with ongoing readiness to respond immediately if the Israeli enemy escalates its aggression, commits acts of genocide, imposes a blockade on Gaza, or prevents food and medicine from reaching the people of Gaza. We are ready to escalate once again with our fellow mujahidin in Palestine and are continuously working to be prepared for the inevitable upcoming rounds in all areas, with the aim of achieving a stronger performance in these rounds, Allah willing, on all fronts.
We will also stand up to all attempts by the enemies and their agendas aimed at forcing our people to abandon their position, regardless of the various methods they employ. The enemies have their agenda for this phase, which they will pursue, whether against the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin or against the supporting fronts, including the front in Yemen.
We also call on everyone in our Islamic Ummah, in the Arab region and beyond, to stand sincerely and seriously with the Palestinian people. This is a responsibility for all of us, as we have stated, regarding the holy sites, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Palestinian people are part of this Ummah, so it has a duty to support and stand by them until they achieve full independence and freedom, as well as the cleansing of all of Palestine from Israeli occupation. This is a collective responsibility, and everyone must have a sense of responsibility towards this duty; ignoring it will not benefit anyone.
Given the fact that the Israeli assault and the complete partnership of the Americans in the aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza caused some regimes and elites to lose hope for the ability of the Palestinian people to achieve victory, this historic victory should serve as a lesson for everyone. It should instil hope in all hearts and serve as a motivation to renew the sense of responsibility and prompt a new movement from everyone.
We also say to those who, in support of the Americans and Israelis, try to doubt our position or downplay its importance: The field is open to you. You have a responsibility, so go ahead and do more than we do, stronger than we do, better than we do. Our stance towards you will not be the same as yours towards us. We will be very positive regarding any serious, sincere, and impactful efforts to support the Palestinian people. As for our people’s position, its effects and results are clear and acknowledged by the enemies, as they are linked to realities in the military and economic spheres, among others.
In conclusion, at the beginning of these events, we assured our brothers in Palestine that they were not alone, for Allah was with them, and so were we until victory. With Allah’s grace, our dear people stood firm alongside the Palestinian people and their mujahidin until this victory was achieved in Gaza. We say to them again: You are not alone, and you will not be alone. Allah is with you, and we are with you until the victory of liberating all of Palestine and reclaiming the holy sites.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us all success in seeking what pleases Him, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, and set free our captives, for He is the All-Hearer of prayer.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
