Supreme Political Council Confirms Armed Forces’ Readiness to Implement Leader’s Directives
The Supreme Political Council affirmed that the Israeli enemy and all those who colluded with it bear full responsibility for the resumption of Yemeni naval operations and the consequences that will result from them.
In a statement on Saturday evening, hailing the warning of the leader regarding the lifting of the siege on Gaza, the Supreme Political Council reiterated full readiness of the Armed Forces and all relevant agencies to carry out the directives of the leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, in the event that the four days expire.
In a speech Friday, regarding the latest regional and international developments, the Leader stated: “We announce to the entire world that we will give the mediators a 4-day deadline. If humanitarian aid is not allowed into the Gaza Strip, we will resume our maritime operations against the Israeli enemy .”
The statement said, “This position stems from religious, humanitarian, and principled duty, and it is also a reflection of what Yemen has previously declared, that it will continue to monitor the Zionist entity’s commitment to its obligations according to the agreement concluded with the Palestinian resistance factions, led by Hamas.”
It added, “The naval operations against the Israeli enemy aim to impose a blockade on the Israeli enemy and prevent it from committing genocide against the Palestinian people, especially in light of the weak Arab positions that have not risen to the level of responsibility towards the central cause of the Arab and Islamic nation.”
In the statement, the Supreme Political Council praised the responsible popular stance that followed the announcement of Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, calling for the embodiment of the widespread popular movement in all fields, as it was during the 15 months of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” battle, in support and assistance to the armed forces and in defense of Palestine.
