The World Food Programme confirmed today, Sunday, that no food has entered Gaza since March 2, and all border crossings remain closed.
The World Food Programme said in a statement: “The prices of some basic food items in Gaza have risen by more than 200%.”
It urged all parties to prioritize humanitarian needs and allow aid into Gaza.
Between October 7, 2023, and January 19, 2025, the Zionist enemy launched a genocide in Gaza, leaving more than 160,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
It’s worth noting that on January 19, a ceasefire agreement between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist enemy went into effect.
It includes three phases, each lasting 42 days, with the condition that the next phase be negotiated before the completion of the first phase, mediated by Egypt and Qatar.
