Several American and European cities witnessed demonstrations today, Saturday, with hundreds of protesters participating against the criminal US President Donald Trump and his close advisor, Elon Musk.

This comes after a week of turmoil in financial markets following Trump’s announcement of comprehensive tariffs.

These movements came under the slogan “Hands Up,” with a central demonstration organized in Frankfurt, Germany, by Democrats Abroad, the official foreign wing of the US Democratic Party.

In Berlin, protesters gathered in front of a Tesla showroom, owned by Musk, and held up signs calling on Americans living in Germany to take action to end what they described as “political chaos” in the United States.

During a rally at Frankfurt’s Opera Square, participants called for Trump’s resignation, holding up slogans such as “Restore democracy,” “Hands off our personal data,” and “The world is fed up with your nonsense, Donald. Go away!”

Criticism of Musk was striking, with a sign reading “Shut up, Elon, no one voted for you,” and a dog wearing a mock sticker reading “Dogs against government efficiency management,” a reference to a federal initiative supported by Musk to reduce waste and fraud.

In Paris, about 200 people—mostly Americans living there—gathered at the Place de la République, where they delivered speeches against Trump and held up signs reading “Resist the tyrant,” “Rule of law,” and “Feminists for freedom, not fascism.”

Similar demonstrations took place in other cities, including London and Lisbon, with protesters gathering in London’s Trafalgar Square, chanting slogans such as “Hands off Canada,” “Hands off Greenland,” and “Hands off Ukraine,” in reference to Trump’s expansionist and controversial policies.
