UNICEF: One Million Children in Gaza Deprived of Life-Saving Aid

UNICEF announced that more than one million children in the Gaza Strip have been deprived of life-saving aid for more than a month, warning of catastrophic consequences resulting from the continued blockade of humanitarian aid.

In statements on Saturday, the organization emphasized that preventing aid from entering Gaza is a clear violation of international humanitarian law, warning that the continuation of this situation will have dire consequences for the health and lives of children in the besieged Strip.

UNICEF stated that the continued blockade of aid will exacerbate malnutrition and disease and increase child mortality in the Gaza Strip.

With American support, the Zionist enemy has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 164,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
