More than 100,000 signatures in the Zionist entity demand an end to the war and the return of prisoners

The Zionist Broadcasting Authority reported on Tuesday that 500 graduates of the Navy’s reserve commanders’ course signed a petition calling for the return of prisoners and an end to the war.

The Broadcasting Authority indicated that among the signatories to the petition calling for an end to the war were “four former naval commanders.”

An Israeli media outlet also reported that 472 former fighters in special units in the reserve support the return of prisoners and an end to the fighting in Gaza.

Haaretz also reported that “approximately 1,700 artists and intellectuals in the Zionist enemy entity signed a petition also calling for an end to the war on Gaza and the return of prisoners held in the Strip.”

The newspaper, citing sources, reported that the number of Israelis who signed petitions calling for an end to the war and the return of prisoners exceeded 100,000 in five days.

After approximately 1,000 members of the Israeli Air Force published a letter calling for an end to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, more than 150 former Israeli naval officers also signed a similar letter opposing the war on the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Channel 13 website had previously reported that reserve soldiers from the 8200 Unit of the Intelligence Directorate had joined the pilots’ call to stop the fighting and return the prisoners.

Moreover, 100 reserve military doctors also signed a letter calling for an end to the fighting and the return of the prisoners according to Israeli Army Radio.

This comes at a time when internal pressure is mounting on the government of the criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, with the occupied Palestinian territories witnessing almost daily demonstrations denouncing the dismissal of senior security and legal officials and the resumption of the war on the Gaza Strip.
