YPC protest to denounce the continued detention of the oil derivative tankers by aggression
Yemen Petroleum Company, on Friday, organized a protest in front of the United Nations office in Sana’a to denounce the continued detention of the oil derivative tankers by the US-Saudi aggression.
The protest entitled “the United Nations: neutrality from humanitarian principles and bias towards international piracy”
The protesters called for the release of all the detained oil tankers and to ensure that they are not detained in the future.
They denounced the clear bias of the United Nations toward the maritime piracy that is practiced by the countries of the aggression on the necessary needs of the Yemeni people from oil derivatives.
He pointed out that this is considered a violation of the Stockholm Agreement, which emphasized the leadership role of the United Nations in supporting the administration and inspections of the General Organization for Yemeni Red Sea Ports in the ports of Hodeidah, Saleef and Ras Issa.
The company confirmed that the aggressive coalition intentionally doubled the suffering of the Yemeni people by continuing detaining the oil tankers, as the period of detaining these tankers reached more than 250 days.
