On Monday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the targeting of an Israeli ship, “MSC SKY,” and a number of American warships.

The Armed Forces explained in a statement that, as part of the victory over the oppression of the Palestinian people and within the response to the American-British aggression against our country, the Naval Forces carried out a targeting operation against an Israeli ship “MSC SKY” in the Arabian Sea with a number of appropriate naval missiles, and the hit was accurate and direct, thanks to God.

The armed forces added that the targeting of the Israeli ship came only hours after carrying out a qualitative operation during which the missile force and the unmanned air force launched a number of ballistic missiles and drones at a number of enemy American warships in the Red Sea.

The Yemeni Armed Forces renewed their continued ban on Israeli navigation or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted, adding that they will not hesitate, with the help of God Almighty, to carry out more military operations in the Red and Arab seas against all hostile targets in defense on behalf of dear Yemen and emphasizing support for the oppressed Palestinian people.

The Yemeni Armed Forces explained that, through these two operations, they confirm their ability to target warships and non-warships simultaneously, and that their operations are escalating and continuing in the Red and Arab seas, the Gulf of Aden, and Bab al-Mandab, until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.

The Embrey Maritime Security Company had confirmed that a container ship belonging to the Israeli enemy and flying the flag of Liberia had been exposed to two explosions 88 miles from Aden, one of them remotely, confirming the outbreak of a fire on board the targeted Israeli ship.

“Embry” company claimed in a statement, “The ship was flying the Liberian flag and affiliated with Israel, and that it was heading from Singapore to Djibouti.” The ship was listed as being operated by Israeli company ZIM Integrated Shipping Services.

Yesterday, US Central Command announced the sinking of the British ship MV Ruby Mar in the Red Sea, confirming that the sinking resulted from the ship being hit by a ballistic missile launched from Yemen.

Centcom claimed, in a statement, that the MV Ruby Mar is a Belize-flagged bulk carrier that was targeted by the missile on February 18, adding that “the ship has been slowly filling with water since the attack.”

On February 19, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced in a statement that the British ship “RUBYMAR” had been targeted in the Gulf of Aden, stressing that it had been targeted with a number of appropriate naval missiles.
