After midnight on Sunday, Israeli enemy forces stormed Al Jazeera’s office in the center of Ramallah and informed its employees of the decision to close it for 45 days.

According to the live footage broadcast by Al Jazeera, enemy soldiers demanded that the office employees leave immediately.

According to Al Jazeera correspondent Jivara al-Badri, all of the channel’s employees in Palestine moved to work in Ramallah office after the enemy banned their work in the occupied territories since last May.

Al-Badri explained that closing Ramallah office means banning work throughout the West Bank.

For its part, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate condemned the enemy forces’ storming of Al Jazeera’s office in Ramallah and closing it for 45 days, considering this arbitrary military decision a new aggression against journalistic work and the media that has been exposing the enemy’s crimes against the Palestinian people.

The Syndicate called on all parties and institutions concerned with the rights of journalists and providing them with a safe work environment to quickly move to condemn this decision and stop its implementation.

The Journalists Syndicate affirmed its full solidarity with Al Jazeera and its journalists, noting that its headquarters and capabilities are at the service of colleagues working at the channel.
