The people of Yemen—widely revered for their faith, resilience, and steadfast loyalty—took to the streets in a massive show of unity that sent a clear message to their adversaries.

With bare feet and unshakable conviction, they staged what supporters describe as one of the most powerful popular mobilizations in the modern history of the Muslim world.

Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana’a, along with surrounding streets and public spaces, was transformed into a vast sea of humanity.

Faces shone with conviction, eyes welled with tears of triumph, and hands waved the flags of Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and Iraq. The scene unfolded like a living tableau shaped by sacrifice—marked by the blood of the fallen, the grief of mourning families, and the endurance of those on the front lines.

The crowds were responding to a call by leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who urged mass participation “in gratitude to Allah, in celebration of victory, in reaffirmation of our steadfast position, and in solidarity with the Iranian people, their leadership, and their Islamic system, as well as with the peoples and fighters aligned in this struggle.”

He also called for continued support for Lebanon and its resistance movement, and for Palestine and Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The response reflected what supporters view as the defining traits of the Yemeni people: a deeply rooted identity shaped by faith, enduring loyalty, firmly held values, and a resilience likened to the country’s rugged mountains. It was, in their eyes, a powerful reaffirmation of a struggle they believe will not waver.

From early Friday morning, crowds poured in from across Sana’a and from multiple provinces, many of which had declared their readiness to mark the occasion and underscore what organizers described as the unity of battlefronts.

Public squares quickly filled to capacity, with human waves spilling into surrounding streets, forming a massive turnout under the banner: “A Million-Strong March in Gratitude to Allah and Celebration of Victory—Our Squares United in Confronting Zionism.”

Organizers and participants alike framed the mobilization as the product of deep-rooted awareness and firm belief that the conflict facing the Muslim world today is existential rather than territorial.

In this narrative, the gains made by what they describe as the “axis of resistance” against the United States and Israel represent a victory for supporters of this cause worldwide.

Driven by this conviction, Yemenis turned out in numbers that exceeded expectations, carrying the banner of victory and expressing confidence that their sacrifices would not be in vain.

Iran’s Victory, Attributed to Divine Support

What was visible in the eyes of those in attendance was not a fleeting celebration, but something far deeper—a profound and unwavering sense of triumph.

It was the joy of believers who see Allah’s promise being fulfilled before them; the joy of the steadfast, who for years recited verses of victory and now witness them manifest—through the force of missiles and the sacrifice of martyrs.

Chants thundered across the crowds, shaking the ground beneath their feet. Voices rose in unison: “Thanks be to Allah, glory be to Him—Satan and his allies are defeated.” Another chant followed: “To whom belongs glory? To Allah—He is our supporter, the Most High.”

The slogans grew louder and more resolute: “By Allah and by none but Allah—Iran has achieved victory through divine will.” Then came: “From Sana’a to Tehran—congratulations to Iran on its victory.” The chants surged in overlapping waves: “Iran and the axis of resistance—victorious, Allah is greatest.”

The crescendo intensified with a stark and defiant declaration: “America is the Pharaoh of this age—and Allah has promised victory.”

For the millions who took part, these were not mere chants but declarations of faith. They embodied a deeply rooted belief that victory comes from Allah alone, that tyranny—no matter how powerful—inevitably collapses, and that divine law does not falter: in the end, victory belongs to the faithful.

Towards Consolidating the Deterrence Equation, Unity of Fronts, and Islamic Brotherhood

Amid the massive human tide that flooded the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, Secretary-General of the Supreme Political Council and member of the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah, Salim al-Mughals, delivered a statement on behalf of the millions-strong crowd.

He said the Yemeni people’s mass turnout was an expression of gratitude to Allah for what they described as a “great victory” granted to the axis of jihad over what they called the axis of disbelief and criminality—embodied, in their framing, by “global Zionism” and its American and Israeli arms along with their allies.

He added that the demonstration reaffirmed firm and principled positions toward the Palestinian people, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and broader issues of the Muslim world, while also aiming to entrench what he described as the “deterrence equation,” the “unity of fronts,” and rejection of fragmentation and vulnerability across the region.

The statement also included congratulations to the Iranian people, their leadership, Islamic system, and armed forces, as well as to the peoples and fighters of what he termed the “axis of jihad and resistance,” alongside expressions of solidarity with Lebanon, its resistance movement, and the Palestinian people.

The statement further asserted that what it described as a historic victory in this phase of the conflict had “broken the enemy’s power,” dismantled what it called the equation of regional fragmentation and permissiveness, and replaced it with a new balance based on deterrence, unity of fronts, and Islamic brotherhood.

It further claimed that the confrontation had struck a severe blow to the so-called “Greater Israel” project, and argued that Zionism represents, in its words, a deviant ideological force posing a threat to the world at large, warning that any escalation against the region would carry consequences extending beyond it.

The statement did not limit itself to congratulations. It went further, emphasizing full readiness for what it described as the next inevitable round of confrontation, declaring that Yemen would remain alongside its allies in Lebanon and Palestine.

It stressed that Yemen’s attention to Al-Aqsa Mosque would never waver, and that its commitment to the Palestinian cause would remain constant as long as its people adhered, in their view, to Islamic faith, Quranic guidance, and righteous leadership.

It further asserted that the liberation of Al-Aqsa and the realization of what it called the “divine promise” remain near and forthcoming, Allah willing.

Finally, the statement called on Arab and Islamic states and peoples to draw lessons from what it described as a historic achievement and to align themselves with the axis of jihad and resistance.

It argued that armed struggle in the path of Allah is the only means of deterrence and defense of faith, land, and interests, citing the Quranic verse: “Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew.”

Ready for Confrontation

Participants in the march spoke from the depths of their hearts, expressing both the joy of victory and their readiness for sacrifice in the path of Allah.

Those in attendance declared: “We extend our congratulations to our mujahideen brothers in Iran, in Lebanon, and across the axis of resistance for these great victories. This axis is one—one resistance, one people—and it cannot be divided.

Today, Iran is raising the banner of the religion of Allah and of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and we are at full readiness. We send a clear message to the enemy: if its aggression against Iran or the axis of jihad resumes, we will intervene directly in response.”

They further emphasized that their participation came in obedience to the command of Allah Almighty: “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided,” expressing their joy and celebration of the victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the countries of the axis of resistance over what they described as global arrogance, led by the United States and Zionism.

The millions-strong marches that swept through the capital, Sana’a, and other provinces were presented as a message from the entire Islamic nation— declaring that the blood of martyrs has not been shed in vain, that the steadfastness of the fighters has not been futile, and that the promise of victory was never an illusion.

It is a message affirming that the will of Allah prevails over all other wills, and that tyrants and arrogant powers, no matter how strong they appear, remain under divine watch.

It further stressed that the Yemeni people—long accustomed to struggle and to supporting the oppressed—will never abandon their brothers in Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq, nor will they ever relinquish their commitment to Al-Aqsa Mosque, no matter the cost.

This, they said, is a people unshaken by threats, because they believe martyrdom is itself a form of victory. They are not deterred by military power, because they believe Allah is with the patient and steadfast. For this reason, today’s turnout stood as a lesson in faith and loyalty—a message to all those who think the peoples of the region have abandoned their causes or fallen silent.

Yemen, they declared, stands tall—raising the banner of victory and chanting in the name of Allah, Al-Aqsa, Gaza, Hezbollah, Iran, and the resistance—affirming that the covenant remains, the stance is firm, the struggle continues, and victory is inevitable.
