The Zionist enemy's "army" expanded its deployment in the central Gaza Strip today by shifting its "Yellow Line" by a distance of 150 meters.

At dawn today, enemy forces pushed into the northeastern part of the Al-Bureij camp in the central Strip amid heavy gunfire. They began redrawing the boundaries by shifting the so-called "Yellow Line" where they are stationed, and installed new concrete blocks to consolidate this change on the ground.

In this context, an investigation published by the Associated Press, based on testimonies from Zionist reserve soldiers and the human rights organization "Breaking the Silence," revealed grim field details regarding the nature of the situation in areas controlled by the Israeli enemy "army" inside the Gaza Strip since the fragile ceasefire agreement took effect last October.

The agency quoted a reserve Zionist soldier who was deployed in the Strip between last October and January as saying: "It was a jungle... After the ceasefire, it turned into a fixed rule: if someone crosses the Yellow Line, shoot them immediately." The soldier described scenes of his colleagues cheering after ramming a Palestinian car driving near the buffer zone, which resulted in the martyrdom of all its passengers.

The three soldiers who spoke to the agency pointed to a widespread state of confusion on the ground and a lack of clarity regarding open-fire orders. One of them explained that decisions to target individuals with drones were often based on "personal intuition" or the last tracked coordinates of their movement due to long distances and the speed of decision-making, making the identification of those targeted impossible.

Another soldier confirmed that instructions issued by field commanders were to "hold the line no matter the cost," adding: "There was a general feeling that human life had no value." He pointed out that commanders told them that demarcating the line was a "daunting task" and that Palestinians had to guess its location on their own. He noted that verbal orders prompted snipers to shoot to kill instead of firing warning shots, under the pretext of protecting themselves.

On the ground, a Palestinian was martyred this afternoon by Zionist enemy gunfire in the town of Al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Earlier, three people, including a child, were martyred and five others were injured when the Zionist enemy targeted a gathering of citizens on Al-Baraka Street, south of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Strip.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today that the toll of the Zionist entity's aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,058 martyrs and 173,488 injured since October 7, 2023.

The Ministry added that the Strip's hospitals received four martyrs and eight injuries during the past 24 hours. It further clarified that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,045, while the number of injured reached 3,380, in addition to the recovery of 786 bodies.
