YPC: aggression coalition still holding 9 oil ships

Yemen Petroleum Company announced that the aggression is still holding 9 ships loaded with gasoline and diesel and prevented its access to the port of Hodeidah.

The company said in a statement issued, on Friday evening, that despite the UN envoy’s talk to Yemen in his briefing before the Security Council on November 22 about the entry of fuel ships to the port of Hodeidah, and that the crisis was avoided, but the aggression coalition is still holding ships to narrow the screws on the Yemeni people.

The supplies onboard ships trapped at sea reach 88,435 tons of gasoline and 127,996 tons of diesel, the company said last Monday.

The company confirmed that the detained ones have permits to enter the port of Hodeidah, stressing that the aggression is striving with the policy of seizing oil ships to increase the citizens’ suffering.
