Yemen condemns US ambassador’s visit to Mahra
Yemen’s National Salvation Government in Sanaa condemned on Wednesday the US ambassador’s visit , Christopher Henzel, to Mahra province.
The head of the government, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, described the visit of the US ambassador to the government of clients to Mahra on the eve of Independence Day as a provocative step.
Bin Habtoor told Al-Masirah TV that American move has exposed the reality of the Saudi presence in Mahra as a prelude to the arrival of the US legions.
He affirmed that the US move has revealed also that the so-called Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia is a tool played to achieve American Zionist interests, noting that the Yemeni people cannot in any way accept this occupation, and Sanaa will help every honest free man fights to go out the occupier.
He continued, “The focus of the projects by the occupiers in the provinces of Hadramout and Mahra have shown through a Zionist project in the region that start to be demonstrated by setting the first pillars in building an intelligence base in Socotra islands.”
