The Director-General of Serwah Directorate in Marib, Sheikh Maree Al-Amiri, said that the US-Saudi aggression aircraft targeted Serwah district with more than 30,000 raids and caused extensive damage to infrastructure and public and private properties.
In a statement to Al Masirah TV, Al-Amiri said that the aggression had destroyed more than 500 homes, more than 22 schools, 4 health units, and more than 12 mosques.
He pointed out that 100 agricultural fields were destroyed and damaged by the aggression’s raids in Serwah and more than 7 water projects in addition to 3 archaeological sites and 3 camps for the displaced.
Sheikh Al-Amiri stressed that all the components of life in the district, including electricity, water and other projects, were completely destroyed in an unprecedented criminal manner, pointing out that we are now in the seventh year of the aggression, and there are more than 20,000 male and female students at all levels deprived of education.
He added: This targeting and criminality resulted in the displacement of more than 12,000 families from Serwah district, and the situation of these families is currently tragic and catastrophic, explaining that the remnants of the aggression from cluster bombs and others on farms and roads are great and solutions and treatments must be found to prevent catastrophic effects.
The Director of Serwah Directorate confirmed that the movement of life in Serwah is paralyzed and the conditions of the displaced need urgent intervention by government agencies and organizations in providing assistance.
