Yemeni directorates inaugurate activities to commemorate Ashura

Today, Monday, Yemeni directorates inaugurated activities to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, for the year 1445 AH.

In the events that were organized ,officials confirmed that Ashura commemoration represents an important stage in the history of the Islamic nation, with what it carried of the meanings of the revolution against tyranny.
They touched on Karbala incident and the relationship between the perpetrators of crimes against the descendants of the Messenger of God and the perpetrators of crimes against the Yemeni people, who are subjected to aggression and oppression, whose events are similar to the events of what the family of the Prophet was subjected to.

They also referred to the status of Imam Hussein and the great grievances he was subjected to, and the importance of commemorating this memory in order to draw inspiration from the lessons of patience and steadfastness in confronting the tyrant of arrogance.

For their part, two speeches by religious scholars confirmed that the Yemeni people are living the events of Ashura in light of the aggression even if the time and place differ.

In the evens, which were attended by the directors. executive and local leaders, social figures, and citizens, poems were recited by poets, expressing the tragedy of Karbala.
