American officials: The White House faces a dilemma in how to deal with Sana’a

The American CNN network quoted American officials as saying that the administration of US President Joe Biden is facing “difficulty” in how to increase the pressure on Ansar Allah in Yemen.

The network reported that there is a belief within the US administration that “using force alone” with Sanaa is an “ineffective” method in confronting them, noting that the United States “does not have a measure to estimate the percentage of their weapons that have been destroyed.”

It is not clear, according to CNN, whether the United States “will change its military approach” towards Sana’a, noting that “concern is growing within the Biden administration as their attacks continue despite the American strikes.”

The network expressed its belief that Ansar Allah “will keep their promise to stop attacks targeting Israeli ships or heading to Israeli ports, if Israel ends its war on Gaza.”
