Yemen’s Defense Minister Asserts Continued Maritime Blockade and Strikes Against Zionist Entity

Yemen’s acting Defense Minister, General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi, affirmed on Saturday that Yemen’s battle in support of the Palestinian people against the Zionist enemy is open to all possibilities. He stated that the maritime blockade imposed on the occupying entity continues, and that strikes on American and British ships of various types will not cease.

Al-Atefi, during a speech delivered during the “Promised Victory” military maneuver executed by forces from the Central Military Region, said, “What everyone should understand is that our battle with the Zionist enemy is open, and we continue in the maritime blockade of its ships.”

This affirmation comes in the wake of the shocking surprise detonated by the commander of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, at the end of last week, announcing the expansion of operations targeting ships associated with the Zionist entity to the Indian Ocean and the route south of Africa towards Cape of Good Hope. This means the imposition of a maritime blockade on the enemy entity, depriving it of the alternative route it resorted to after the Yemeni naval forces closed the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea in front of its ships.

The Defense Minister confirmed that “the operations of the naval forces against American and British war or commercial ships will not stop, and will continue if they continue their suspicious tampering in Yemeni territorial waters.”

He added, “We will make Washington, London, and all who stand with them realize that sovereignty over our seas and our territorial waters is one of the facts that does not accept discussion.”

He said, “Yemen has become the long arm in its territorial waters, there is no justification for American and British concern, and there is no need for loss of nerves and mobilization of fleets.”

General Al-Atefi confirmed that “Yemen is capable of seizing its right and dealing with an international community that respects only the strong.”

He explained that the armed forces “impose, with force, new rules of engagement that will make the American, British, Zionist, and those who revolve in their orbit pay a hefty price through them.”

He pointed out that “the battle of the Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad in support of (Al-Aqsa Flood) will triumph and inevitably lead to geopolitical changes accompanying a new world order” in reference to the strategic transformations that began to take shape in the region since the start of (Al-Aqsa Flood) and which was the most prominent of them the strong and sudden emergence of Yemen as a power with a large regional and international impact.

The Defense Minister confirmed that “Yemenis are not advocates of war or aggressors, but the brutal crimes witnessed by Gaza have pushed free peoples to declare a position, including our people.”

He added that “Yemen’s entry into the battle against the hateful and usurping Zionist entity and its maritime blockade is not a luxury decision, but it is a sovereign national Islamic human decision.”

The statements of the Defense Minister carry new messages and promises that put the Zionist triad: (the United States, Britain, and the Israeli enemy) in front of the reality of blocking the horizons of all their attempts to neutralize the influential Yemeni front in the battle (Al-Aqsa Flood), as well as putting them in front of their predicament that is getting worse, through the continuation of genocide and starvation in Gaza and what it includes of aggression on Yemen; because the continuation of aggression and blockade on Gaza will push continuously towards escalating the level of Yemeni operations; which opens the field towards stronger and wider strikes and surprises that make more transformations.
