Iraq, Arresting Takfiri Group Carried out 13 Terrorist Operations

Kirkuk Governorate intelligence, Sunday, arrested a group that carried out 13 terrorist operations during the years 2019 and 2020, according to the intelligence agency of the Iraqi Interior Ministry.

It indicated that three takfiris from that network were arrested after raiding one of its dens in the governorate, noting that those arrested are wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 terrorism for their affiliation with ISIS takfiri gangs.

The agency stated that the three arrested confessed to carrying out 13 terrorist operations, including planting explosive and adhesive devices, targeting security forces and citizens in 2019 and 2020.
