Iranian Parliament: Lifting Blockade against Yemen, Humanitarian Test of Riyadh’s Intentions

The Special Assistant to Iranian Parliament Speaker for International Affairs, Hussain Amir Abdullahian, considered that lifting the US-Saudi blockade is a humanitarian test of Riyadh’s intentions to establish peace in Yemen.

Tasnim International News Agency quoted Abdullahian, on his Twitter account, as saying: “Iran will spare no effort to establish peace in Yemen.”

He referred to meeting with UN Secretary-General’s envoy on Yemen affairs, Griffiths, explaining his assertion, during the meeting, that Saudi Arabia is unable to compensate for its losses on the battlefields through the negotiating table.
