Shura Council, Supreme Elections Committee condemn the execution of prisoners in the prisons of the Saudi regime
The Shura Council condemned the criminal Saudi regime’s execution of 81 people from Hijaz, including Yemeni prisoners.
In a statement, the council considered this crime a clear violation of international treaties and covenants that stressed the protection of prisoners, preserving their lives and taking care of their rights and property, and that subjecting them to humiliation or torture is a war crime for which the Saudi regime is prosecuted before the International Criminal Court.
The statement indicated that this massacre committed by the Saudi regime against dozens of people from Hejaz and Yemenis expresses the extent of its bankruptcy and its thirst for the blood of Arabs and Muslims, and its disregard for people’s lives.
It said such a crime has condemned the Saudi regime and its doctrine since the establishment of its obscurantist kingdom, which was based on bloodshed and the killing of innocent sons of Hijaz and Najd regions; in addition to the massacres it committed against Yemeni pilgrims and other members of the Islamic nation.
The statement stressed this crime will not be subject to a statute of limitations and the Saudi regime will be held accountable for it sooner or later, and that the Yemenis will take their revenge on those who issued a fatwa, directed and executed this heinous crime by all available means.
It called on all the free people of the nation and the world to condemn this brutal crime committed by the extremist Saudi regime, which has addicted to bloodshed and to work to prosecute it before international and regional courts.
The statement held international and humanitarian organizations responsible for this crime, which the Saudi regime would not have committed had it not been for the complicity of these institutions and their submission to the American blackmail, which stands behind the crimes committed and perpetrated by this brutal regime against the sons of the Arab and Islamic nation.
The Supreme Committee for Elections and Referendum also condemned the crime of execution of two prisoners of the army and the popular committees by the Saudi regime.
The committee stressed, in a statement, that this crime will not go unnoticed, and the Saudi regime must pay the price for its crimes against Yemen, land and people.
The committee held the international community responsible for the silence on the crimes and violations of the Saudi regime, which did not respect the laws of war and the treatment of prisoners.
