The Yemen Gas Company called on the United Nations to pressure the aggression coalition to prevent the detention of domestic gas vessels.
The company indicated, in a statement, that the aggression coalition has been holding the gas ship “Sarah Lady” since October 18, which carries a quantity of nine thousand and 230 metric tons of imported gas. It called on the United Nations to quickly release the seized gas ship.
It stressed that the coalition of aggression practices piracy on gas and oil derivatives ships despite their being subject to inspection and obtaining UN entry permits, considering preventing the entry of fuel ships and piracy on them a crime that contradicts international and humanitarian norms, charters, and laws.
