Zionist enemy demolishes building under construction in Al-Ram, north occupied Al-Quds

The bulldozers of the Zionist enemy began today, Monday, demolishing a residential building under construction in the vicinity of the road connecting Jaba’ and Qalandia military checkpoints in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Al-Quds.

Local sources reported, according to the Palestinian News Agency, that the occupation forces demolished a building out of 17 that were notified of demolition, in favor of the settlement road linking the two military checkpoints north of occupied Al-Quds.

Since the beginning of the occupation’s comprehensive aggression against our people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, and in parallel with the unprecedented destruction of houses, buildings and facilities in the Strip, the demolition of citizens’ houses has escalated, especially in the so-called Area C, which constitutes about 60% of the West Bank.

The occupation authorities carried out 98 demolition operations during the month of July, affecting 135 facilities, including 62 inhabited homes, 14 uninhabited ones, and 12 agricultural facilities. They also notified the demolition of 16 other houses and facilities in the West Bank governorates, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
