Prisoners’ Affairs Authority: Enemy prisons witness serious violations against Palestinian detainees

The Prisoners’ Affairs Authority said this morning, Wednesday, that prisoners in Gilboa prison live a tragic life and a painful reality due to the fascist and racist policies pursued by the enemy prison administration in dealing with them.

The Authority explained that beating, cursing, smashing, and storming rooms and sections have become part of the fixed routine of the occupation’s management methods with Palestinian prisoners.

The Authority reported that there is a severe shortage of clothes and blankets, and there is no consideration for weather conditions with the advent of winter, in addition to the spread of skin diseases, the absence of cleaning materials and sterilizers, and the continuation of the policy of isolation from the outside world, and the imposition of restrictions and obstacles on communication within the rooms and sections.

The Authority added that the sections are still suffering from severe overcrowding, and the detainee cannot sit or move except on the space of the mattress he owns.
