Civil service ministry announces suspension of fingerprint system in all units of administrative apparatus
The Ministry of Civil Service and Insurances announced the suspension of the fingerprint system in all units of the state’s administrative apparatus, the public and private sector for a month from Monday.
The ministry stated that the decision to suspend the fingerprint working comes in implementing the decisions of the Higher Ministerial Committee and the memorandum of the Ministry of Public Health and Population as a precautionary measure to confront Corona virus, provided that attendance and departure are proven by other administrative means.
The Ministry called on the central and local public service units to commit to suspending the attendance and departure fingerprint system during the specified period while taking preventive measures that will be circulated to all agencies and units in the public and private sectors.
The statement pointed out that this measure comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to actively contribute to the state agencies and institutions in taking precautionary measures to confront Corona.
