National Organization condemns prevention of entry of fuel ships

The National Organization for the Defense of Telecommunications and Post Services has condemned the aggression coalition countries’ denial of entering oil shipments to the port of Hodeidah province.

The organization indicated in a statement that the detention of 15 ships loaded with oil derivatives and prevention of reaching Yemen although the ships obtained permission from the United Nations represents a collective punishment for the Yemeni people which will hinder disruption of most basic services, including communications, the Internet and the postal network In all provinces.

The organization pointed out these arbitrary measures taken by the countries of the aggression coalition are a flagrant violation of international laws and covenants related to human rights.

It pointed out that the absence of oil derivatives in light of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic increases the risk to civilians and reduces the means to confront it.

The organization renewed its call to the international community represented by the United Nations to quickly intervene to lift the ban on oil derivatives and hold the aggression states and their mercenaries the legal responsibility for hindering the fuel ships.
