YPC: $ 101 million in Fines of Oil Tankers Impounded by US-Saudi Aggression

Yemen Petroleum Company confirmed that the coalition of the US-Saudi aggression is holding 18 oil vessels at the Red sea, including 4 ships loaded with fuel and gas and 14 ships loaded with gasoline and diesel.

The company stated in a statement that the total fines for seizing oil derivative ships from 2019 to July 2020 estimated at $101 million.

The statement considered that the United Nations’ persistence in ignoring the human suffering of Yemen was a result of its move away from its founding charters.

The company held the United Nations fully responsible for the repercussions of the continued seizure of Yemen-bound oil tankers, the persistence of maritime piracy, and the practice of collective punishment by the countries of aggression.

Meanwhile, the YPC praised the level of awareness and tangible cooperation by citizens and their commitment to supply guidelines during the current fuel crisis imposed by the aggression.

It renewed its call to all the free people of the world to put pressure on the forces of aggression and the United Nations to release all the detained ships.
