FM: It is better for the Saudi Foreign Minister to return to the past files finding out who started the aggression
Foreign Minister Eng. Hisham Sharaf, commented on what was stated in the speech of the Foreign Minister of the Saudi Aggression state, Mr. Faisal bin Farhan, at the 47th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation about falsification of reality and facts and an attempt to avoid the Saudi regime from its direct responsibility for what happened in Yemen in terms of disasters and tribulations during six years that affected The lives and livelihoods of nearly thirty million Yemenis.
Minister Sharaf confirmed that the Saudi blatant interference in Yemeni affairs in 2014, and the beginnings of the conspiracy to form a military alliance headed by it in preparation for the aggression, which included the countries of the GCC and withdrew from it who decided not to actively participate in late 2014 and then the approval of the aggression plan and followed by the start of aggressive military operations in March 2015 and the imposition of an air, land and sea blockade, in addition to the policy of massive punishment pursued by Saudi Arabia against the Yemeni people.
He noted that all of this reveals the main cause of Yemen’s problems and the Saudi Arabia has created the worst man-made humanitarian catastrophe in the modern world.
Foreign Minister said, “The Saudi Foreign Minister should return to the previous files regarding Yemen to study them and find out who actually initiated the conspiracy and aggression.”
Minister Sharaf concluded his statement by renewing his call for the peace of the brave for all in Yemen, the Arabian Peninsula region and the Gulf, and to sit at the table of dialogue and direct negotiation between all parties to end the military aggression, lift the siege, stop interference in internal affairs and provide Arab and international support for the return of normal life in Yemen economically, financially and in a way that contributes to Achieving brotherly diplomatic relations with all neighbors that preserve the security, stability and territorial unity of the two brotherly peoples.
