Angry Popular Protests Continue in Mukalla for a Second Day
For the second day in a row, angry popular protests continue in the city of Mukalla in Hadramout against the background of the collapse and absence of basic services in the oil-rich governorate.
The protesters demonstrated to the main streets and blocked them with stones, while they closed the Mukalla port and the Oil Company, stressing that they would not open them until their basic and legitimate demands were met.
The protesters chanted slogans, demanding the provision of basic services such as water and electricity, noting that the electricity supply has been cut off for 15 hours a day, and water pumping has stopped in several areas of the city.
The participants in the popular protests vowed to continue their escalation until the mercenary government meets their basic demands, while the pro-aggression authority ignores these demands and attempts to suppress them by various means.
During the last period, a number of cities under occupation witnessed angry protests and demonstrations, to denounce corruption and the deteriorating living and service conditions in the governorates.
