Sana’a University Council approves treatment of Arab students in the same way as Yemeni students
The Sana’a University Council, chaired by the university’s president, Dr. Al-Qasim Muhammad Abbas, approved the treatment of Arab students in the same way as Yemeni students enrolled in the university’s programs and majors in the parallel and private alimony systems in terms of the dollar exchange rate according to the central bank rate.
In this regard, the council affirmed that the decision comes as an encouragement from the university for Arab students who wish to study at the university and enable them to enroll in the programs and majors of the university’s faculties.
The meeting, which was attended by the vice-presidents of the university and the deans of the faculties, stressed the need to provide the necessary capabilities and facilities for resident and expatriate students from sister countries to study at Sana’a University in particular and Yemeni universities in general.
The meeting explained that the university is unique in providing qualitative technical and applied programs and specializations that are a magnet for students, whether at the local or regional level, and the incentives and advantages that the university enjoys as being at the forefront of national universities.
