3 Martyrs and 87 Injured in Israeli Aggression on Service Facilities in Hodeidah

The Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population has confirmed that the death toll from the brutal crime resulting from the Israeli enemy’s targeting of oil tanks and the power station in Hodeidah province has risen to 3 martyrs and 87 injured.

In a statement, the ministry strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on civilian objects and service and economic facilities.

The statement emphasized that this aggression occurred with the cooperation of the United States and the complicity of some Arab countries that have betrayed the Palestinian cause and opened their airspace for Zionist aircraft to carry out cowardly strikes on Yemen.

It was stated that the heroic Yemeni people and their valiant armed forces will not back down in the face of this blatant aggression, which will not deter them from continuing to defend their land and sovereignty. Instead, it will increase their determination to continue depleting the Israeli enemy and its allies, standing in solidarity with Palestine and its brave resistance.

The statement pointed out that the Yemeni people, who have endured years of aggression and blockade, cannot be defeated and will continue their struggle and resistance without retreat.

In the same context, the Minister of Public Health and Population in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, inspected the conditions of those injured as a result of the Israeli enemy’s targeting of service facilities at the Hodeidah port today.

Dr. Al-Mutawakkil reviewed the nature of the wounds and burns of several injured individuals and listened to Dr. Khaled Suhail, President of the Al-Thawra Hospital Authority in Hodeidah, who provided an explanation about the cases arriving at the authority and the nature of medical services provided to the wounded.

The Health Minister directed that all necessary needs and medical care be provided and that all the wounded be received in all hospitals in the province.

He stressed the need for all doctors and health workers in the province to be on alert to meet the needs in various specialties.

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy confirmed in a statement that the Israeli aggression targeted the electricity of Hodeidah province and the diesel fuel tanks at the Ras Katnib power plant in Hodeidah province with a series of airstrikes, causing severe damage.

The Ministry of Electricity strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on a civilian power station that provides services to the people, considering the targeting of the Ras Katnib station as a crime against humanity.
