Zionist Media: We Must Prepare for Yemeni Retaliation Against “Israel”

Israeli media continues to emphasize the growing concerns within the Zionist regime regarding the development of Yemen’s military capabilities and the steadfastness of the Yemeni leadership in pursuing further escalation. This is particularly relevant in light of the inevitable response to the attack on Al-Hodeidah or the entering of the fifth phase of military action. According to these reports, the situation on the Yemeni front does not inspire optimism for the Israeli occupation.

On Tuesday, “The Jerusalem Post” published a report confirming that “concerning the direct [Yemeni] threat to Israel, there seems to be little reason for optimism.” The report referred to statements made by the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badruldeen al-Houthi, about “preparing for the fifth phase, which includes unexpected initiatives and an expanded target bank.”

The newspaper stressed that “the statements made by senior Yemeni leaders, asserting that retaliation against ‘Israel’ is certain, should be taken seriously.”

It added, “We should not conclude that the Houthis have backed down after the strike on Al-Hodeidah. Given their strong motivation to inflict harm on ‘Israel’ and the renewed attacks in the Red Sea, it seems they are regrouping.”

The paper predicted that Yemeni armed forces “will grow stronger over the years, both in terms of the quantity and quality of the weapons they possess, and they may even bring the threat closer to Israel.”

The article argued that the Zionist entity “must be prepared” regarding the Yemeni front.

It stated that “Israel should work with policymakers in the United States, Europe, and international forums regarding the threat posed by the Yemenis, including their ambitions to develop advanced weapons that could directly threaten the U.S. and Europe,” as it described.

Earlier this week, the Hebrew newspaper “Globes” expressed concerns that the ongoing war would increase the chances of Yemen achieving significant advances in air defense against manned warplanes. This comes after Yemeni armed forces successfully downed nine U.S. MQ-9 drones.

Channel 12’s Hebrew website also described the downing of U.S. drones as a “painful blow to the capabilities of the American military.”
