Gaza Government Media Head: Yemen’s Heroic Support Will Never Be Forgotten
Yemen’s Ministry of Interior announced that the security operation in the Hanka Al Masoud area of the Al-Qurayshiyah district successfully eradicated the presence of Daesh criminal members.
The ministry stated that the campaign resulted in the arrest of dozens of Daesh militants and the death of several others, including their appointed “Emir,” Faisal Al-Khabzi, known as Hayzoom Al-Khabzi. It was also noted that some Daesh members detonated themselves during the raid on their hideouts.
The ministry confirmed that the operation was launched after the criminals refused to surrender to law and justice, rejecting tribal mediation efforts from area dignitaries.
It was explained that these criminals had previously committed repeated attacks, including the assassination of Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al-Rabea for opposing their extremist ideologies and resisting their influence.
The militants also attacked security personnel on duty, including an ambush on a Central Security patrol, injuring two members and a nearby civilian. Another assault on a security checkpoint resulted in the martyrdom of several officers, injuries to others, and the destruction of police vehicles.
The Ministry of Interior linked the resurgence of these militants to an American-Israeli scheme aimed at destabilizing Yemen’s internal front and distracting it from its steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and Gaza’s suffering. However, this plot was successfully thwarted by Allah’s grace.
The ministry expressed gratitude for the cooperation, vigilance, and awareness demonstrated by the residents of Hanka Al Masoud, Al-Qurayshiyah district, and the Al-Baidha governorate. It called for continued collaboration to defeat all conspiratorial schemes targeting Yemen’s resolve and support for the Palestinian cause.
