Aggression forces target residential areas in Hodeidah
The US-Saudi aggression forces continued to bomb separate areas in Hodeida province with various weapons in new violations of the ceasefire agreement during the past 24 hours.
A security source pointed out that the aggression’s mercenaries targeted the homes of citizens in Saba’ah (7) Youluo neighborhood with various medium weapons, as well as fired 6 mortar shells on the Kilo Seta’ash (16) area and al-Khamseen (50) Street, and scattered with machine guns separate areas of the city.
The source added that the forces of aggression targeted with heavy and medium weapons, the village of Al-Kouei, on the outskirts of the besieged city of Duraihmi, and shelled more than 10 artillery shells on the citizens’ farms west of Tuhaita.
The source indicated that a military bulldozer for the aggression forces had introduced new combat fortifications in Hays district.
The source denounced the United Nations’ negative position regarding the violations of the aggression and its continuous violations of the Sweden agreement and ignored the difficult humanitarian situation that Yemen and the city of Duraihmi are going through as a result of the aggression and the unfair siege.
In a new reading, Human Eye Center for Rights and Development, an independent civil society organization that publishes periodic reports on civilian casualties and civilian infrastructure, issued a statistical report on the scale of civilian casualties suffered in Yemen for nearly five years by US-Saudi aggression.
The Center confirmed that 42,135 civilians were killed and wounded as a result of the direct shelling of the aggression coalition, especially the airstrikes that exceeded half a million raids and 2689 women. According to the report, killing and injuring children by direct shelling accounted for more than 25% of the total number of civilian victims.
