Foreign Ministry condemns terrorist attack in Baghdad
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted a popular market in central Baghdad, killing and wounding dozens of Iraqi citizens, according to YPA.
In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Iraq and the families of the victims, and wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded.
The statement affirmed that the Republic of Yemen stands by Iraq and its rejection of any attempts to destabilize its security and stability.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that the United States of America, its tools and policies are the ones working to destabilize and spread chaos in the region and the world, and it is the one behind the suffering of the peoples of our Muslim nation.
The Ministry called on the states and peoples of our free nation to show solidarity and serious thinking in finding formulas for joint action to put an end to the aggressive stances and policies pursued by Washington towards peoples in general and the countries and peoples that express the nation’s honor in particular.
