Sana’a announces the most prominent crimes ,violations committed by the aggression in Yemen
Wednesday, in the capital, Sana’a, a press conference was held on the first report of the crimes and violations committed by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression from its inception until last June.
The head of the national team in charge of dealing with the international and regional team of experts, Abd al-Ilah Hajar, said in a press conference, Wednesday, that what is announced in this report is the most prominent crimes and violations.
The report of national experts confirmed that preliminary statistics show that about 16,802 civilians, including 3,753 children, 2,361 women and 10,688 men, were killed by direct US-Saudi airstrikes, and double this number is for civilian injuries.
Regarding the health sector, the aggression destroyed 483 hospitals and health facilities, leading to the stoppage of the function of 60% of the hospitals.
Regarding the education sector, the coalition has damaged 3,553 public and private educational facilities, as the airstrikes completely destroyed 402 schools.
Regarding the infrastructure and service facilities in Yemen, the report of national experts revealed that the aggression deliberately destroyed 14 sea and land ports by direct bombardment, destroyed about 4,976 km of roads and 101 bridges, and targeted more than 6,278 different modes of transport.
The losses of the electricity sector as a result of the aggression were estimated at billions of dollars.
The report revealed that the 1748 judiciary and security installations were targeted, destroying 477 security installations, killing 178 security personnel, and severely injured 139 others.
The aggression forces completely and partially destroyed more than 472 fuel and gas stations and destroyed more than 291 oil and gas tank trucks.
The report of the national experts confirmed that the aggression coalition has used forbidden weapons such as cluster, sonic, vacuum and phosphorus bombs against the Yemeni people.
The report indicated that the siege had led to the failure of transporting 362 kind of medicine, as well as closing 7 dialysis centers out of 28 centers.
The aggression and blockade also caused the inability of 320 thousand patients to receive treatment abroad due to the closure of Sana’a International Airport.
