Shura Council condemns mercenaries government decision to raise the price of customs dollar
The Shura Council condemned the decision of the so-called economic council of the government of aggression mercenaries to raise the price of the customs dollar by 50 per cent, from 500 to Rials 750 for goods imported in foreign currency.
In a statement, the Council described the decision as disastrous and will directly contribute to the growing suffering and deteriorating service and living conditions of the Yemeni people in the occupied southern governorates and all Yemen.
The statement noted that this decision would result in price rises in petroleum derivatives, domestic gas, electricity and water tariffs, and represents collective punishment by the mercenary Government on the people in various provinces.
He indicated that he would further aggravate the living conditions of a citizen who sought to sustain his day and drag him into the square of poverty and high cost of living under widespread corruption of the mercenary government, which salaries are paid in Saudi riyals and dollars.
The statement pointed out that the mercenary Government was aiming at this unjust decision, to implement the policy of aggression in order to distract citizens from their livelihoods and change its view of its looting of wealth and occupation of strategic areas.
The statement called on the Yemeni people in the occupied areas to express their rejection of the coalition’s policy of starvation imposed on them by the coalition and it’s mercenaries, mobilize the fronts to the expulsion of the occupier, the restoration of land and the protection of wealth.
