The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that more than 625,000 children live in the Gaza Strip and suffer from severe psychological trauma, while many of them are considered “out of school and living among the rubble.”
The agency explained that many children in the West Bank are exposed to escalating violence that negatively affects their lives and education.
In a post on its official page via (X) application yesterday, Wednesday, UNRWA confirmed that Palestinian children in Gaza and the West Bank have suffered heavy losses for nearly a year since the beginning of the Zionist aggression on Gaza.
It pointed out that even before the war began, most families in Gaza were facing great difficulties in providing food for their children.
It added that “with the passage of 12 months of the war, we have witnessed an increase in cases of malnutrition, diseases and deaths.”
