Hamas: UAE crossed line and engaged against Palestinian rights

The Palestinian movement Hamas said on Sunday that the UAE had lined up with Israel “against Palestinian rights.”

“The remarks made during visits by some EMIRATI officials to the occupation have crossed line, they confirmed the UAE’s involvement with the occupation against Palestinian rights and the interests of the people of the region,” the group’s spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said in a tweet.

He added that this behavior “reflects the UAE’s unlimited support for settlement and occupation.”

The movement called the normalization of relations between the UAE and Israel under American auspices “a free reward for occupation.”
