The Israeli enemy forces continued their arrest campaigns in the occupied West Bank, at an unprecedented rate, in light of the continuation of the war of extermination against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

From yesterday evening, Sunday, until Monday morning, enemy forces arrested at least 20 Palestinians from the West Bank, including former prisoners who spent years in Israeli occupation prisons.

The Prisoners’ Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said in a joint statement on Monday that the total number of arrests in the West Bank after “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle on October 7, 2023, amounted to more than 9,000 arrests, which included all segments of Palestinian society.

In addition, the enemy forces deliberately arrest hundreds of Palestinian workers and thousands from Gaza, and until now the institutions concerned with the affairs of prisoners have not been able to accurately identify all their numbers and identities, as the Israeli occupation continues to carry out the crime of enforced disappearance against them.

The continuous and escalating arrest campaigns for eight months have been accompanied by field executions, direct shooting before arrest, or the threat of doing so, in addition to severe beatings, field investigations that affected hundreds, and the use of police dogs.
