Civil Defense in Gaza recovers the bodies of 162 martyrs since the ceasefire

Civil Defense crews in the Gaza Strip recovered the bodies of 162 martyrs from under the rubble of homes targeted by the Israeli enemy in the governorates of the Gaza Strip since the implementation of the ceasefire.

The Civil Defense said in a brief statement today, Thursday, that it recovered the bodies of two martyrs yesterday, Wednesday, from the governorates of Gaza and the North, and 7 bodies from the governorates of the southern Gaza Strip.

The Civil Defense stressed that “the bodies of thousands of martyrs are still missing under the rubble of homes and buildings destroyed by the Israeli enemy, and the crews were unable to reach their locations and retrieve them due to the lack of heavy equipment and machinery.”
The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect at 8:30 am on Sunday, ending 471 days of genocide waged by the Israeli occupation army on the Strip.
